There is no cellular reception in this store which I find frustrating. Limited selection of sparkling wines. The staff is mostly friendly.

This LCBO isn’t my favorite, it’s located inside Yonge and Eglinton. If I am shopping there then stopping into this location becomes convenient. Seems to be well stocked, lineups tend to me long here probably from the traffic of the subway. The staff here could be more helpful and cheerful, they seem to make the lines go slow on purpose.

This LCBO is located inside the Yonge & Eglinton mall. This is not my favorite LCBO to stop by at but it’s right off the Eglinton subway station which personally makes it convenient for me. The stock at this location is okay, nothing too great. I would not recommend coming here for beer as their beer section is almost always an unorganized mess. Inside, it’s not too spacious and it can get crowded in there quick. The lines at the cash can get long and the staff here doesn’t do a very good job at keeping the lines moving smoothly. Also, the attitude of some of the staff working here is childish and erratic. If I’m not in too much of a hurry, I walk 5 min south of Yonge & Eglinton to the bigger and better LCBO. I would recommend others to do that too.

Decent stock though the beer section looked pretty barren. There’s maybe one associate available to help you at any given time. Long lineups. Crusty chick at the cash today – you’d think she’d be a bit more mellowed out working around all that alcohol, unless she’s an angry drunk. Or maybe she was hungover. Overall, the service is hit or miss and the lineups are long. I’d rather go to the one at Yonge and Manor nearby for friendlier service if what you want is common enough as that’s a smaller location, or go to the Summerhill location.

I quite like this LCBO. Mainly because it is on my way home on the TTC line, but still. It is larger than my local LCBO, which means more selection. The staff here are friendly and helpful, and one looks a lot like Kurt Cobain. No, that doesn’t add to the review but there’s a fun fact for you. Kudos to this store for being able to handle the New Years Eve rush with smiles on their faces.

Lame-ass Liquor Store. I can’t check out of this place without the guy behind the counter asking«Air Miles, bro?» in the most half-baked surfer voice I’ve ever heard midtown. Wine selection blows goats, from cheap favourites(they don’t carry Cantina di Negrar’s $ 12 Valpolicella) to vintages(I once went in for a bunch of California Zins, they had none of the four I was looking for(. Beer shelves are poorly stocked. Even worse, all the good beer is in the warm section, and all the lousy stuff is in the cold section. The final straw, the one that drove me to write this review, was this weekend. How incompetent must an LCBO outlet’s staff be if they can’t even keep the handy little cardboard beer carriers(you know, the ones you build yourself to carry 8 cans?) in stock? Now I not only have to buy warm beer, I have to juggle it!
