Dr. Douglas has been practicing since 1980 at the Leaside Chiropractic Clinic. Since 1988 his practice has been located at the Eglinton Bayview Medical Centre in Toronto. In additon to Chiropractic manipulation and soft tissue therapies, Dr. Douglas incorporates into his practice traditional and laser acupuncture. Intramuscular stimulation (dry needling) along with various physical therapies, such as infrared laser, ultrasound and electrotherapies produces the most effective form of myofascial pain relief known today. Also available are spinal flexion and decompression tables to aid in the treatment of degenerative disc and sciatic nerve irritation. Radial shockwave therapy is a new fantastic therapy for treatment of myofascial trigger points and tendinopathies. We also can provide patients with a personal gait analysis in conjunction with the manafacturing of custom made orthotics. Dr Douglas has advanced level certification from the American Board of Rehabitation.

Dr Douglas graduated from CMCC IN 1980. Over many years of study he has received certification in rehabillitation, traditional Chinese medicine and Acupuncture (advanced standing). More recently he has gained certification in the treatment of Intramuscular Stimulation for Myofascial and Neuropathic pain.
