I was here for the grand opening of this store and what can I say, it was awesome. The give aways, prizes and events they had scheduled for lego fans and kids alike were great and although a bit chaotic, it was worth the wait. They also had a master builder on hand working on a gigantic yoda lego sculpture and had many other great characters on display. The store itself, like the Fairview location is busy, loud and has children screaming every which way you look. Pretty typical for a toy store though, it almost comes with the territory. The shelves however, are actually quite clean! Also the staff are very friendly and polite, considering the amount of craziness going on around them. This location like the others is great, and I can’t help but comment on the friendly customer service I always get at the lego store. They make me choose their locations to buy lego over Toys R US or Walmart any day, and the little ones always appreciate the free stuff they offer as well. Once a month there are builds for children, where they can participate in a lego building activity and take home their creations afterwards! This place is awesome for kids and adults alike!

I like the layout of the store. You get to see a lot and you don’t have those signs you see in low class Asian stores that say you break it you bought it. The layout of the store allows the staff to see and walk around with customers(Vaughan Mills’ layout wasn’t as good). The staff was pretty helpful when we were there. However, this is still an extravagant store for people who have disposable income to buy and those without that kind of privilege to gawk at. I especially liked playing around with the minifigs trying to see if I can make a combo that would look nice. The price wasn’t too bad $ 13 for 35-piece minifigs. It would make a good stocking stuffer for next Christmas. I gave this place 5 stars because the layout was good, the staff was friendly without being imposing and let me play with the minifigs. Even if I didn’t buy anything in the end their smiles never wavered.
