Leigh and Harlow

I was shopping for a gala dress, and I spotted this mint green dress in the sale section. The store has large fitting rooms with sofa and some heels for me to try the cloth on. The dress fit me so well. The store clerk was really helpful and made all kinds of suggestions as to what I can add to the outfit.
The store has great décor and selection of clothes too. A bit dark in some corners but that’s okay.

Went in here to pick up a watch which I had been eyeing online for sometime.
Was quickly greeted by very friendly and helpful sales staff. Watch was priced exactly as it was online (even incorporating the US exchange rate) so I purchased right away.
Unfortunately the watch had a defective battery, so I went back to the store the next day. The manager was extremely helpful and had the battery changed right away, at no cost to me of course. Despite the minor issue the whole transaction was great. Highly recommended.

Was walking along Queen Street and managed to catch a glimpse of some really nice shirts with a good-​sized SALE sign through the open door and decided to pop in. Flipped through the rack and they were these lovely Ben Sherman short sleeved numbers and they were only 40 bucks each. This is a good price and I had a hard time just buying one as there were a few I had my eye on.
The store is nice. It’s not hard to miss it as a lot of the clothing shops on Queen seem to look identical these days. The girl working the counter said «hello» when I came in but seemed rather unimpressed. Maybe because I wasn’t quite up to speed on the latest fashions and I’m sure my clothes were looking bummy.
But as soon as I expressed interest in trying something on she turned a corner and became super-​nice. I guess the amount of people who come in browsing and leave empty-​handed left her feeling a little jaded. I tried on three shirts and she showed me to the spacious dressing room. She would check up on me to see if I was alright and when I decided on my purchase she folded the shirt like origami and I was on my way.
I’ve been back since and they have a lot of nice men’s clothing. Simple and classic looks, but of course a little on the pricey side. But the quality is there and they seem to always have a few items on sale so it’s definitely added to my list of spots to hit up if I am looking to upgrade my wardrobe.

If you are in need of a pricey pair of jeans or something trendy — this is a great store on Queen West. I have bought a few pairs of jeans and some shirts here — I am not fashion forward but I feel better after I shop here.
It takes the staff sometime to warm up to you — but once they do, they remember you and treat you with great service.
