Let’s Get Moving

I was looking for movers that offered an economical value and good service. Let’s Get Moving fell smack in the middle. Tiam was very helpful right from the get go. He always made sure that I am happy with the way things are going. I would have given them a 5 star rating had it not for the inconvenience during the move. I was moving from a condo building and since the team arrived left, went over our allotted time and that caused my security deposit to be forfeit. However, the move ended on a very happy note. Tiam came personally to ensure the moving speeds up. He spoke to his team, the building security to let us continue the move.
After arriving at the destination, Tiam and his team unloaded everything within 45 minutes. I even did a check to see if everything was in order and without damage. I pointed out one damaged piece of furniture and Tiam was quick to refund me for the damage right on the spot. He continuously pressed on the fact that he wanted to see me happy. By this point, I was really impressed by his service and his perseverance to make his customers happy.
Even after all this, there was the point of my security deposit. I was locked in a battle with the building management to return my deposit. Tiam, himself called up the building to find out about the situation and offered to pay for the deposit if the building refused. Although, the building finally returned my deposit, I was impressed by the fact that he ensured that I am happy with his service long after the move.
Again, I would give Tiam a 5 on 5 for his service levels, but because of the issues I had during the move, I give the team a 4. I would highly recommend using Tiam and his team for the move as they do a great job in taking care of you.

Excellent moving experience! I used Lets Get Moving for a move last month from Etobicoke to downtown Toronto going from a townhouse with 3 flights of stairs into a 2 bedroom condo — plus needed to store my things overnight! I found them online and actually had to book very last minute so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Luckily the team was able to accommodate me. I got a reasonable quote, especially considering the overnight storage, and there were no surprises on that end either. They showed up on time, prepared, and ready to get started and they took great care of all my furniture by blanket and plastic wrapping — everything was loaded and unloaded with care, and nothing was damaged in the process. They also set up some of my furniture for me which saved me a lot of time and effort (esp my bed).
Moving can be a very stressful experience, but they really made the entire process go smoothly and were so helpful and friendly in the process. I highly recommend, and would definitely use them again.

Let’s Get Moving (LGM) is AWESOME！I tried a few others before but none of them is comparable to LGM. They tried their best to do the detailed and careful work at a fast pace. The moving service is of good quality as well as fast speed. All I needed to do was just to relax and sometimes told them how I wanted it packed or placed. My boyfriend and I have a lot of furniture clothes and other stuff. But they packed and moved everything pretty quickly.
Both of the staff helped us were very nice, polite and friendly. I definitely will recommend to my friends! Thanks to their careful and fast work, all my furniture and personal belongings are as good condition as before, well, even better. Cuz Tiam helped me fix one table. Ask them for moving, you won’t regret it!

I recently had to move last minute, and saw that «Let’s Get Moving» had great reviews on Unilocal so decided to try them out.
I was impressed!
Service was done in a timely manner. Everyone on the team was friendly and I felt comfortable letting these guys move my stuff. I felt there was extra care with my belongings and they took the time to make sure everything was packed securely.
I’ve used other moving companies in the past, and they have been kind of sketchy. Not this place! I highly recommend using this moving company, as they did a fantastic job at a very fair price.

My brother recently moved back home from university out of town and had a ton of stuff to move back to the city. My SUV wasn’t big enough to accommodate all of his stuff so we decided to contact Let’s get Moving. I had heard great reviews about them in the past and checked out their Unilocal and Facebook pages to see what they were all about and was very impressed!
They were very friendly and helpful right from the beginning. Extremely pleasant on the phone and gave me my free estimate promptly. It was very reasonable and I felt I was definitely getting my moneys worth. We arranged a day and time that was most convenient for myself and my brother and they understood all of our special instructions.
On moving day they showed up right on time and went straight to work. They were very friendly throughout the moving process and really went above and beyond. They were so careful with everything, and I didn’t even have to tell them what specifically to be careful with. They went above and beyond and even helped us load some of the lighter things like backpacks into my car. I was definitely impressed!
We watched them load up the truck and they made sure everything was completely secure and would not shift throughout the drive.
They arrived at our house a bit earlier than us but were polite and patient. When they carried my brother’s stuff into the house they brought it exactly where we requested, rather than just dumping it into one place. They were really nice and patient with us and kept asking us if we needed any more help before they left.
Overall hiring Let’s get Moving to move my brother back home was an excellent decision and I highly recommend them! I’ve had some bad moving experiences in the past, as when I last moved half of my parents vinyl collection was stolen. Working with Let’s get Moving made me rest assured that my stuff was in great hands and handled with care. I would definitely use them again in the future!
