I ordered sunglass prescription lenses. I was going to Cuba and I called before I came to town to ask if they could do them in the 6 day time frame, they said they could I spoke to the owner Steve Levy. I sent my prescription by email, asked for a confirmation that it was received, no answer. I then called the store got voicemail repeatedly, left a message left an another. NO answer. Finally I called another store and they answered and then they got the store to call me back. Now they don’t know if they will be ready I leave tomorrow and they now claim, they never told me they would be ready. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EXPERIENCED IN YEARS!!!

The quality of the merchandise they sell is excellent, and the staff who helped me find my frames has a very good eye. However both times I have ordered lenses from them, it was taken close to a month to get them — far longer than the «10 days» they breezily promise.
Prepare to keep squinting as you wait for a while.

I went to their location in the Bay/Adelaide Center and they have been nothing but wonderful! Extremely friendly and helpful and to say the prices are great would be an understatement.

LF Optical has a fair sized inventory and brand names galore, if that’s what you’re after. It’s a shame though about the horrible customer service, bad attitude and total lack of professionalism. Otherwise, they’re great!
