Came here with high expectations because of the good reviews and the great prices but I’m disappointed. I got a shellac mani and a regular pedi — the girl who did my shellac mani was nice and she did a decent job on them but the girl who did my pedi wasn’t that great. When she was cutting my nails she kept painfully tugging on my loose hangnails. She also did not paint my toes properly as they are so transparent and there are spots everywhere. The male receptionist was very friendly and accommodating of me being late but overall I was definitely not pleased and probably won’t come back.

I called for a last minute, pre New Years mani pedi and they were really nice and accommodating. They didn’t rush either service and the girls were really sweet. They don’t have the largest selection of colours, mostly OPI and Essie, but their gel and shellac selection seemed really large. Most people seemed to be getting a semi permanent and there were a lot of walk in regulars. Overall the place is clean and the services were provided with care. Excellent value for the price.

This place is amazing. Super friendly people and great prices. I go there regularly for waxing by Ti and she’s a gem!

I’ve been going to this place for the past few times I’ve gotten my nails done and they are absolutely amazing and all the girls at the spa are nice.
The guy at the front desk is really friendly as well and gives great recommendations! Definitely a keen eye to detail!
This place is affordable and has a great selection for colour. It’s clean and they take the time to make sure you’re happy with everything.

I’ve been looking for a place in my area that’s clean, affordable, and friendly and THIS IS IT! I called to book a shellac polish change and got an appointment right away. The salon is close to the Bayview subway station or Sheppard bus stop. I was greeted right away and the staff began the removal process. I explained that the other place did a bad job and a few of my nails broke as a result. At Lux they checked my nail health, evened out the lengths and took good care and patience to getting my nails ready for an important photoshoot I have coming up. And to top it off the price was exceptional! Definitely coming back!

Booked an appointment at 1:15pm on a Saturday. Came exactly at that time and they seated me. I waited for another 10 minutes to have a lady start my manicure. It’s pretty packed on a Saturday afternoon. I was then. The lady that did me didn’t talk much to me which was kinda what I liked. They have a tv hanging in the middle of the wall and I was watching Big Bang theory the entire time. They finished my manicure in no time and they were able to do my nail design as I asked. All you need to do is show them a picture of how you want it. I’m very satisfied with this manicure because they really clean your nails and paint on them to perfection. This is my second time here and probably going to be my go to place for a mani or pedi.

Good pricing, clean and professional, gets busy so appointments are necessary on weekends.

The nail bar opened less than 2 years ago. I had a manicure and pedicure for $ 35 before tax and the service was phenomenal. The nail bar is small and narrow, but it was nicely renovated and looked clean and professional.
I have been to many nail salons offering the same prices, but this nail bar takes their time to buff my feet, message them and lotion them.
I asked the staff which brand of nail polish lasted the longest (I don’t remember the brand right now), but it lasted me weeks longer than my previous nail polish, when I got it done at a different salon.
I would come back again if I was in the area.

It was hot, busy and there is no place to really sit when you’re waiting. They asked me to wait a minute to see if they could fit me in. Yes — my bad for not making an appointment. I sat there for 10 + minutes for a man to tell me my nails were fake. No they are not. Unless there’s a nail fairy who does them for me every night. Then they told me they couldn’t fit me in. Thanks for nothing!

They’re so friendly and their prices are amazing and excellent service. They actually soak the shellac off as opposed to buffing it off like most places. It’s nice and clean too.

My new favourite nail spot! I rarely get my nails done but after months of chipping and breaking, I had to do something. I got an appointment on short notice and they were very welcoming when I arrived. They clarified any costs upfront (I got a gel overlay with shellac). Their rates were competitive, the location is easy to find, the décor is nice and they seem to keep the place clean and sanitized. The staff were friendly and took the time to make sure I was satisfied with the end result, offering suggestions on color and best practices to make it last. Really appreciated by a gel newb!

This is a nice little spot with cute décor in a divey strip mall. They took their time and were conscientious, which I appreciated, and they had a steady stream of repeat visitors, so I took that to be a good sign. Plus their prices seem very reasonable. $ 30 for a manicure pedicure, $ 30 for a bikini wax, etc.

My first time experience was great. Kim who did my wax was very friendly & gave me the minimum pain ever !!!

Had a great mani/​pedi. She took her time/​no rush. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name, but I’ll remember when I return. I would definitely go back again.

I don’t understand the hype of this place. I got my Mani & padi done with my friend. My shellac was so bad that I had to go other nail salon 3 days later. Pedi was okay though. The worst part is my friend got infection from Pedi so she had to be on med for a month. Unacceptable. I’m giving 2 stars instead of one because staffs were really nice. But seriously won’t go back there.

I really enjoyed my experience here! I got shellac nails and a half leg wax. The waxing was quick with minimal pain.
Jenny, who did my nails made them look amazing! I ended up getting a light pink colour perfect for spring :) I think next time I’ll go for a bolder colour for a change.

I love love love this place. First off, unlike most nail salons, the décor is so modern and pretty. It’s small but cozy. The prices are great.
My first time there they greeted me like I was a regular customer, calling me by my name and asking me about my vacation (which I mentioned in passing when booking my appointment). I got waxed and I got a shellac manicure. Both of my technicians were friendly, attentive, and precise. They carry my favourite brand of gel polish, Bioseaweed Gel. I was extremely happy with my experience.

This is my new fav nail salon. Not only is it close by to me but the price is extremely reasonable. For a wax that I usually get it only costs me 30 compared to places I’ve been which is 60. The price is so reasonable and it’s very clean and the ladies are superb there. Very gentle and tentative.
For a shellac manicure, they make sure the shellac is close to the cuticles as possible and no missed spots. I hate when places leave a gap between the cuticles and Polish. I also find that my shellac manicure and pedicure last longer than the place i used to go to, not sure if it’s different product or technique. Also, they have been perfect shaping my nails. Some places that I’ve been to don’t shape them equally or I’m unhappy bout one. But it’s been pretty even so far. Even for my pedicure.
They already have a wide selection of shellac colours but everytime I come they add more and more.
I’ve only been a few times and already the staff know me. Makes me feel very welcomed. This will for sure be my go to nail salon now.
Parking is really tight here tho. I would suggest you go early.

Just went there today for a Brazilian and half leg wax and also bio-​gel and shellac mani. These girls know what they’re doing. Fast, detail oriented and pleasant. Their prices are also very reasonable. Doesn’t hurt that the place is a beauty! Will make this my new go to nail and waxing spot!
Tip: Pay cash and there’s no tax.

Felt welcomed the moment I walked in. Got a French pedicure and a half leg wax.
It was my first ever time getting my legs waxed but the lady talked me through it and even cracked in some jokes making me feel 100x more comfortable about the whole experience!
The pedicure was nice and relaxing with the added bonus of these huge comfy massage chairs. My nail technician was super nice and really looked like she knew what she was doing!
Even cashing out was a breeze! The 10% Unilocal offer was honoured too without hassle. Everything about this place is a solid A+! I will be coming back here soon, maybe for a manicure this time! Highly recommended!
