History

Established in 1898.

Martin’s was established by Alfred Martin in the Junction City area of Toronto in 1898. Martin’s is the oldest business operating in the Junction, and we are still located at our original address on Dundas St. five generations later.

From the days of horses and buggies to modern times, we have served west Toronto families in their important moments — weddings, births, funerals, graduations — and holidays — and «just because» moments as well.

We have added some of Toronto’s most talented floral designers to the team over the years. Our staff are always on trend with colour and style.

Business Owner

Lynn Martin Freeman grew up in the family business and has been at the helm of Martin’s, the Flower People since the retirement of her father, William Martin, in 1995. Lynn has grown Martin’s through new technologies, old-​fashioned service and hiring terrific designers.
