History

Established in 1998.

Max the Mutt was founded by artists and animators with a desire to hand on their skills to the coming generations, a commitment to be available to talent, and a dedication to education. We originally taught classical animation, and gradually expanded to add computer animation, and then, at the request of canadian comic book artists, added the Sequential Arts: Comics & Graphic Novels 3 year diploma ()the only in depth program in Canada), and the 4 year Concept Art for Animation & Video Games 4 year diploma (also the only one in Canada).
