B.S. place!!! Fuck its so shady. They even have a CS rep named shady. Go figure right?.
2 years ago I got breaks replaced. magically 1 year later had problems made me pay to get them all replaced because they were bad and after buying the stupid lifetime warranty on pads shoes etc. Ended up going back 6 months later with bad breaks again! (and no its not how I drive because I drive my actual car much more and those breaks are in fantastic condition.) Also to add insult to injury they did and oil change in my car but when I checked the oil later that evening it was still DIRTY .wtf did I pay for? Half ass shit? And overfilled over the limit. Google it both bad things!!! I am telling everyone check their work before you pay them this isn’t the first time. I used to get tires changed there every season and magically my tpms would break or a flat or something even though they were relatively new. also they would overtighten bolts on the tires. Not worth going here you may think they do a good job but you’ll pay later! take it from me. I spent about $ 1600+ on breaks in that time and they only lasted a few months before I had to go get service etc. I can assure you their work is shitty because when I got the job done properly at my dealership it was done right and I am very happy.
Be warned! If you don’t believe me next time you go there and they tell you something was done or needs to be fixed Google it and see if it actually does need to be fixed and see how its done right first then go check their work before you pay them. I guarantee that You’ll very quickly leave this place
Also to add to that they said the noise my car was making as it moved was my tires… it wasn’t, it was my wheel bearings. These guys know Absolutely nothing! Except how to scam you in fact within my 3 months of work of breaks they still managed to charge me 250 though «parts and labour are covered’ within that timeframe and word of advice «DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE ANY CASH DEALS THE EMPLOYEES OR MECHSNICS OFFER» I’ve heard they offer you cash deal to save money but there’s no paper work and they do a shit job and you end up coming back with bigger issues you can’t do anything about. Well that’s that though if it was up to me I would also file a complaint about these guys to the better business bureau. No one deserves to be treated like that or taken advantage of.
side note: when they «give you new brakes and rotors» make sure it isn’t just sanded down and spray panted silver.. this is despicable!

Here’s the deal: 5 stars for Paul, 1 — 2 stars for anyone else who works there. Paul’s one of the managers and is one of the nicest car guys I’ve ever met.
Now, as a young Asian woman, I find that I am usually taken advantage of when I go to get my car serviced anywhere. Usually I’ll go somewhere for an oil change, and then I get a 20 minute speech about how I «should really get __(insert random car part that I didn’t know existed here_​_​done as well».
My first time at Midas was to have my snow tires put on. Paul was there, had a wonderful chat was my car was being done, was out in under an hour, didn’t offer to «fix» any extra parts.
Second time, went to get my headlights done. I thought they were both out, so I requested to have them both done. Paul was there again, and he honestly admitted that only ONE of them was out and that I didn’t need to spend any extra money replacing BOTH, even though they don’t cost much.
Third time was a big deal. My left rear shock absorber had broken off and was making a terrible clunking noise. Had my car towed to this Midas, then waited an hour and a half before my car was looked at. Paul wasn’t there, but the owner’s 2 sons were. I was told I would be paying almost $ 500 to fix both rear ones (they replace them in pairs), or at a «discounted rate» of $ 1260 to replace all 4. THEN I was told they didn’t have time to do them that day (they closed in an hour), and that I couldn’t leave my car there overnight UNLESS I took the $ 1260 deal. This was when I took the liberty of calling my mechanic friend who works at Audi, who told me to get out of there STAT and take the car to a small shop on Lawrence and Midland.
I ended up getting the rear set done for $ 400 cash, but was also told that my front ones were practically brand new and that there was absolutely NO reason to have had them replaced.
Moral of the story, don’t bother going unless Paul’s there, since he’s pretty much the only guy who won’t make you spend extra money.

I’ve always looked for a mechanic I can trust so I know I’m well taken care of with excellent service and fair pricing. David, the owner, at Main Auto has given us excellent service and very fair prices. I trust him since he
tells me that some things don’t need to be done and gives me good advice. I feel very comfortable with him and would highly recommend him. Feels great to be relaxed knowing my interests are taken care of.

I had my brakes serviced here and while the service was courteous, I was told separately by three people (two mechanics) that I was overcharged. This was a $ 350-​$ 400 job on average, for which I was charged $ 600. My previous review was written as I left Midas. Shop around but don’t go out of your way for this location. Service is good but pricing is not competitive.

I went to Midas for a car safety inspection as the ownership needed to change on my car, and the government requires an inspection first. The dealership was going to charge $ 150 but Midas charged only $ 89 plus tax.
The service manager was really nice and accommodating. He answered emails quickly and effectively. Once at the store, getting the inspection done didn’t take much time and was very easy.
Overall, nice place. I would go back for other things.
