Description

Specialties

Milagro Cantinas are authentic Mexican eateries where friendly folks offer traditional food, tequila and beverages like in the classic cantinas of Mexico City.

Our rustic dishes are prepared using fresh corn tortillas, native spices and regional chiles.

We have full catering services and offer private spaces for events and parties at our 3 locations.

History

Established in 2006.

Milagro Cantinas are traditional Mexican eateries inspired by the great Mexico City establishments of the golden era. Milagro was founded by Mexico City-born brothers Arturo and Andrés Anhalt, who opened our first and flagship cantina on Mercer Street in the heart of Toronto’s entertainment district. The cozy, family oriented Milagro Uptown is located on Yonge Street north of Lawrence Avenue, and the lively, fast-paced, west end Milagro is located in the trendy West Queen West neighbourhood.

Chef Arturo’s menu offers traditional dishes from all culinary regions of Mexico. Our chefs and cocineros prepare our foods using only classic recipes and techniques as well as the freshest quality ingredients. An amazing selection of Tequila, Mezcal, wine, beer and cocktails, prepared by skilled and passionate Meseros and Cantineros, is the perfect complement to our delicious food offerings.

We strive to honor all aspects of the Mexican culinary and beverage tradition with our flavorful, rustic
