The other reviews are right. He’s 5 stars! I came here in summer of 2013 when the stone in my ring had come loose (it got run over by a car… oops). I called ahead but he said I didn’t need to make an appt so I just went in one Friday morning around 1130. The gentleman here is very friendly and was able to fix the setting/​ring in a few minutes while I waited. He was knowledgeable and was able to tell me what happened to cause the problem, fixed it, polished it up, and barely charged anywhere near what I would have expected.
I came back in May 2014 — he made both of our wedding rings. He helped us decide on the design and materials. The rings were exactly as we’d decided, affordable, and done in about a week.

My husband started buying me silver jewelry from this tiny but superb shop several years ago. Each Christmas I am the happy recipient of yet another lovely handcrafted piece.
I’m so enthralled by their superb designs that I often can’t wait until the next occasion, and have purchased some pieces for myself.
This year, they outdid themselves. I had mentioned that I wished they had a ring to complement the lovely earrings and pendant in the lily design with pearl.
My wish was their command!
They designed and created the most beautiful ring– a one of a kind!

I had a ring resized here and could not be happier with the high quality work that was done. Not only was it done quickly and priced reasonably, but the gentleman who did the work was very friendly and accommodating. When looking for somewhere to take my diamond wedding ring to get the claws re-​tipped, I did a lot of research and while there were places closer and cheaper, it was the reviews here on Unilocal that convinced me to call Mourguet.
I am so glad that I did. He did an excellent job, and made my ring look better than brand new! I had read a lot of horror stories online about jewellery repair shops just putting blobs of gold on the claws instead of doing a proper re-​tipping, not something I wanted on my wedding ring for my 15 year wedding anniversary!
Mourguet does excellent work and his prices are more than reasonable for the quality workmanship.
I will never take my jewellery anywhere else.
