We had our passport photos done here. Everyone was friendly but it took a great deal of time to process the images.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I’ve had my film processed here over the years and have always been happy.

I really want to give these guys a good review because Nick, the owner, is so nice — but I really can’t.
They have screwed up each and every single order I’ve had with them.
Prints missing LITERALLY every time; twice they missed HALF the order!
Duplicates or triplets of random photos.
Emailing me the order is ready and then when I call in to pay and arrange pickup — they’re not done.
I have to help them FIND my order most times; commonly resending the job after days of searching for it.
My last order which was placed on January 8^th (with a request for pick up on January 10^th), was not complete until January 16^th.
Only after I had to follow up as no one had replied to me at all!
As it was too late for our event, I delayed the pickup and increased the order to well over 100 photos.
When I paid and arranged my courier to pick up, the entire first half of the order was missing.
I phoned in and the staff could not even locate the original emails.
I had to resend them, which they magically received immediately.
When they called for payment on these, they insisted on a fee that was a 56% increase on the rate I have ALWAYS paid.
They insisted they were an odd size (4×7), when in fact 20 out of 22 originals were 4×6 standard).
The amount of energy they have sucked out of me is tremendous.
The lack of professionalism and communication is just one too many times.
Friendly, but exceedingly incompetent and don’t care to rectify their own errors.
REALLY disappointed and frustrated.
If you’re going to mark up your fees after a history of hundreds of photos, the least you could’ve done was inform me first and have a valid reason to do so!

They’ve screwed up every order! Really basic orders that I could have gone to Blacks for at the same price. 3 strikes you’re out, NAFL!

On my first visit, I had two rolls of film developed (B&W and 400ISO Color Negative). Got prints for both of them after 5 – 6 hours. That was fantastic. No nonsense. The prints came out great and I got the bang for my buck. Plus the guys were really non-​intimidating unlike some pseudo-​hipsters out there.

One of the few photo developers in Toronto that develops and makes prints from old film formats such as 35 mm and DISC film, Northern Artists Pro labs makes doing business a pleasure. I was able to mail in my film for development (to save me time from going up to their St. Clair Avenue East location twice) and inform them what I was looking for. Processing my film in a timely manner, they called me when my prints were ready and I was impressed by how quick and reliable their service is as they were able to locate my envelope quickly. Located across the street from the St. Clair Avenue federal building, I recommend this place to anyone looking to get prints from old film formats in this new digital area.
