Avoid at all cost!
I’ve paid these crooks over $ 250 (to cover ~20 tickets) and now have to pay the city $ 500 because PTG never showed up to court for any of the tickets… ridiculous! Definitely reporting them to the Ontario Bar Association.

Paid for 3 parking tickets in 2015. Michael’s company never went to the court and they lost all 3. I ended up paying double the amount (original ticket + fine). I contacted Michael for a refund, but instead he threatened to sue me. In the end i paid the fine on my own. He sent me messages on my mobile phone threatening to take me to court. Extremely unprofessional, only hire him if you want to loose your ticket. Please do not use him!

This company and it’s owner, [redacted] is a joke. Actually, it’s worse than a joke because he is actively defrauding many Canadians of their money, and harming peoples credit scores by claiming that you can pay them and have peace of mind while in fact they are doing absolutely nothing while your ticket goes into default. This has happened to for both of the tickets I sent their way. Oh man, had I known what kind of a guy [redacted] was, I would have stayed far away. I tried calling him, and all he did was rudely tell me to email them and he would reimburse me. I emailed them, twice, and of course I was ignored. Just look at his replies to people below! He’s literally threatening to sue people for leaving bad reviews, and he has the balls to ask people to take down their negative reviews because he refunds them ONLY AFTER HE GETS CAUGHT BY THE MEDIA. Obviously he’s very selective about which tickets he actually handles, probably less than half of those he receives and is paid for.
Anyways, if you’re in the same boat as the majority of people scammed by this guy, do what John suggested below and issue a chargeback on your credit card. Then, if you have the time, file a complaint with these organizations against [redacted]. Hopefully with enough attention we can get [redacted] barred from ever scamming anyone ever again.

I was a customer of Parking Ticket Guys from 2014 to 2015. It sounds as if my experience was the same as other reviewers: I would pay a fee to the company, they would file a request for trial, I was convicted each and every time, and despite the company promising to pay the fine they never did.
I have attempted to resolve the issue for nearly two years now to now avail. I was able to recover the fees to the company from my credit card company but am still owed more than $ 300 in parking fines from Parking Ticket Guys.

Here’s the chronology of my experience with Michael Low and his colleagues:
1. Racked up 20+ parking tickets that I submitted to PTG
2. Got a conviction letter in the mail
3. I scanned and e-​mailed to PTG requesting a confirmation that they will pay it
4. Eventually got a response from Michael confirming he will pay the amount due in full
5. Got a bunch more convictions throughout the year
6. I go to renew my sticker in February; low and behold (pardon the pun), I have to pay $ 255 in unpaid fines before I can renew my sticker
7. I e-​mailed Michael a number of times and have yet to hear back from him
8. I continue to get conviction letters in the mail
9. I am now in the process of filing the necessary paperwork for small claims court against Michael and his company (I wonder if he’ll take his own court date a little more seriously).
Don’t make the same mistake as me — fight the tickets yourselves!

these guys deserve 0 stars. this is a huge scam. i paid 3 tickets using these services only to have all 3 get court notices that i had not paid on time. in other words now i have to pay all 3 again and i paid this scumbag company.
do not use this service. you will pay them, and think everything is okay. but the way the legal system works, you won’t get that court notice until months later. i suspect that’s why everyone has used them, because they pay them and in the next month they tell their friends it works, only to find out way too late that it is a scam.
i’m so so so so so annoyed at this, i can’t believe this isn’t fraud and they aren’t in jail. holy crap.

I’ve used them for 4 times now since the very beginning. They have been very reliable so far.

I would not recommend this company. Paid for the service but the service wasnt rendered. Asked for a refund several times but the owner never replied back to me. I ended up paying my ticket plus interest on top of payment i already made to this company.

I recently asked Michael to handle a ticket. (I myself am a lawyer and did not have tie to deal with the matter myself.) Michael Low wrote back and confirmed they recieved the Notice of Trial. I sent an email asking for confirmation that someone attended and appeared at the court date. One week has gone by and no response from them. I just received a Notice of Fine and Due Date. I have emailed Mr. Low for an explanation, and will provide him with 48 hours to respond. If he does not respond then I will be filing a complaint with the Law Society of Upper Canada, as Michael Low is a registered paralegal with them and this conduct is not in keeping with the professional standards of the Law Society. I will of course remove this review and update the listing if I hear from them and things change. I encourage anyone who has had poor dealings with this paralegal in a similar fashion to consider making a complaint to the Law Society.
UPDATE: Within 1 hour or posting this review Michael Low contacted me to advise he would pay the amount due by the due date. I will update this review further if he follows through.

I immediately called, and the owner said he’d reimburse me. Great. Then after a week or two of calling him daily to get that sorted out, he said there was no record of me in the system, I never filed the ticket, blah blah blah, a bunch of BS to get around paying me back. All of this despite emails back and forth about getting a notice of trial, and proof of payment to him on my credit card statement. The whole process was a nightmare, and the owner is one of the least professional people I’ve ever encountered in my life, yet unfortunately he carries on taking advantage of undeserving people.
Do yourself a favour: do not give PTG a dime. Or take the money you would pay him, and throw it in a blender, because at least that way, you can see the money you just wasted. He’s a scam artist, and you’re better off paying the ticket or fighting it yourself.

DO NOT use their service.
The idea behind the ticket guys is, you pay them half of your ticket cost and they go to court on your behalf to fight it. THEY DID NOT EVEN SHOW UP TO THE COURT DATE. Which leaves me paying the full ticket, plus court fees, plus I lost 50 $ to these guys. He told me he’d reimburse me since I payed off the ticket. he never did.

I went to the office. Owner wouldn’t come speak personally because his employee had told him there was a guy (me) who wanted to speak with him about his ticket. So I spoke to him on the phone and he sounded agitated. He was rude, unprofessional and best of all HE CALLED ME «DUMB». He told me to get off his property immediately, several times. Then he hung up on me mid sentence.
I didn’t know that the business moved location to a trailer. I went to speak with him at his old office. The people in the office rolled their eyes when they heard his name and said basically that he does this all the time, takes people’s money, assures them that he’ll take care of things and then does nothing, leaving them with the original cost of the parking ticket, plus a court fee, plus what ever money you have payed the business. The people at his old office said «he should be stripped of his license to practice» and that they’re «glad he finally left» their office.
I should have looked at the Unilocal reviews before using the business. All 1 star reviews that sound similar to mine. So here I am warning you about it.

I was emailed by the owner and told I can’t have my money back unless I took down this review. I took it down and he still refused to give me my money. I put it back up and told him I’d take it down when he gives me my money back. HE TRIED TO INTIMIDATE ME by threatening that he’d SUE ME FOR DEFAMATION. He even threatened to get my girlfriend and her mother involved. What the hell? He told me that he’d prove to my girlfriends mother that I was a «punk». A punk? for wanting him to pay me what he owes me? Check the date on this post, he still hasn’t given me my money back. All in all he’s a pleasure to work with.

I had a bad experience with this company, they straight up did not do what they guarantee’d they would do, I ended up having to pay my tickets when I renewed my license plate sticker and they were even higher fines than when I originally got them. I emailed the owner about the fact that my tickets weren’t taken care of and he was confrontational and rude.

DO NOT USE THEM!
I’ve used this service before. It wasn’t perfect and required me to be on top of follow up issues (e.g. having to email them when they did not attend a court date), but eventually… eventually…it would get resolved. I decided after a while that this service was becoming more of a hassle than just filing the ticket myself, so stopped using them, but unfortunately I still had to deal with a ticket that was left over, and this is where the parking ticket guys really let me down.
I received a notice of fine and court fee for the ticket that the parking ticket guys did not end up attending. I began the (unfortunate) usual process of back and forth emails to address the issue. The owner would email me back with one word answers, assuring payment would be made. It was not, so I paid it myself, to avoid a bigger fine. I was assured I would be refunded with an ever changing payment date promised. This has gone on for about a month, and I have given up on ever getting my money back. In total I have paid more than double for my original ticket (original fine, court and fee fine and fee for using this useless service). I thought maybe if I was nice and polite I would have a better response but I don’t think you can win with people like this. Completely rude, unprofessional and unhelpful.
All I can do now is write a bad review and hope I can save others the hassle and money.

STAY AWAY FROM THE PARKING TICKET GUYS!
I went through the process with them and paid them in full. They took my Ticket to court, had it reduced and left me with the fines. I had no idea until I went to renew my Plate Stickers and noticed I had an additional $ 105 in court fines I had to pay.
Numerous E-​Mails and Phone calls to them are going unanswered.
I wish I read more reviews before I used them.

Do not use this service. The ticket i files through them was undisputed and since their number was not in service i have emailed them. Only received a response after writing a review about them. Owner’s phone number was there so I called and he told me to take my comments down without telling me when or what they will do with undisputed ticket. And hung up on me.
They also removed my email address from the system so i do not see the list of the tickets i submitted with them. Luckily I have copies of the receipt and calling the credit card company today as well as police report.
I will be in touch with media company that gave positive advertise on this once i have time.
Avoid it at all cost!

from a friend, who had success with a few parking tickets in the previous year. I received an infraction with the City of Toronto last summer and promptly forwarded the information to
and sent payment.
Aside from the registration email confirming my account set up with the company, I received no other correspondence from the company. In December, I was sent a notification for a court date in Jan 2015. I called the office, spoke to somebody, and faxed the information on the court date to Parking Ticket Guys. Parking Ticket Guys assured me that they would show up to represent me on the stated court date.
After the court date, I received another notice from the City of Toronto, stating that my fine had been reduced to $ 10.00, payable by due date March 30^th. Again, I called into the Parking Ticket Guys office, promptly faxed the notice in and was assured that the fine would be paid in full (on my behalf). March 30^th came and went and I forgot about the ticket until I recently decided to check the status of the ticket online in mid-​May. The City website shows that not only was the ticket not paid, but now there are additional costs of $ 20.00 for missing the payment date and $ 30.00 was due ASAP for the infraction dated June 2014.
I called multiple times into the Parking Ticket Guys office and finally reached Michael (presumably the owner of the company). Michael curtly dealt with my call and insisted that they were backlogged and busy and unfortunately had missed the payment. He suggested that I text him directly and include the infraction number so that they could e-​transfer me the money since the ticket must be paid directly by the license holder to Service Ontario, once the due date is past. Following his instruction, I sent him a text including the infraction number, my last name, amount due and email. I waited 2 weeks to see if he would follow up with payment — nothing. June 2^nd, I emailed both

restating the facts, asking for payment in a reasonable manner and basically letting them know that I would like it if they kept their word and let me have a good first experience with their company. No response.
I am truly disappointed and I would highly discourage anybody else from paying them. I now owe Service Ontario the full amount of the original ticket and I’m out the fee that I paid their company. Please don’t use their services unless you want to pay more than what you owe the City and are begging for a long, drawn out, painful experience.
I gave them ample time and multiple opportunities to redeem themselves.

Paid this company to handle a few parking tickets for me, the tickets went undisputed and subsequently had to be paid in full with extra penalties upon plate renewal. These guys were TERRIBLE. They told me everything I wanted to hear (don’t worry, we will fight your ticket, don’t worry we will pay your ticket, don’t worry we will reimburse you for having to pay your own tickets…) and they did NONE of these things.
I used them in Sep and Oct, 2014. They lost the case, and then never paid the money they owed on the tickets. I had paid them the original amount AND I got stuck with the full bill for the tickets, PLUS because they were not paid on time they were almost sent to the Ministry where additional fines would have been incurred, and where I would not have been able to renew my license and plate.
I suggest NOT using these guys. I emailed at least 12 times trying to sort this out, and gave him plenty of chances to make good on his company’s website.
I would recommend STAYING AWAY from these guys.

UPDATE: Several weeks after writing this review, the owner sent me an interac transfer returning the money back to me. While I’m still not impressed with the service, and would not use them again, I have to give him credit for making good on the agreement, even if it was frustrating and time consuming to get the money back.

Parking Tickets are a hassle… getting one and paying for one. I live outside the GTA so when I got a parking ticket in Toronto (the parking ticket control office must have had a field day camped out in front of a spot that has 3 signs and none make sense). I wanted to fight it but I don’t have the time or effort to bother. I took photos, made notes as I wanted to fight the ticket because it was dubious and ambiguous and was a tax grab.
If I ran the meter out then I know I was at fault, but if I park and the sign says I can park there then no issue, look behind the tree and there is another sign saying you cant, and 4 feet away there is another sign. Which is right?
I heard these guys on the radio and I thought this is what I need… some guys that sort out parking tickets.
I went to their web site and went through the process and goodbye ticket.
They have been very busy and now even can assist with license plate renewals and my submission got glitched in their system due to the rapid growth these guys are going through.
The president called me personally and quickly resolved my issue within an hour when I contacted their customer service team.

There is no need to solve the matter as it has been resolved through MasterCard. You had your chance… multiple times… credibility? I think you should be asking yourself that question.
Communicate with your customers before they write bad reviews.
Answer the phone when people call you during business hours.
