History

Established in 2005.

Glass Artist and instructor Minna Koistinen has led hundreds of students through her workshops since she initiated teaching privately some twenty years ago. Her efforts grew to become Playing With Fire, which now offers several different types of workshops to choose from.

Business Owner

Glass Artist Minna Koistinen is a native of Finland. She holds a masters degree from the University of Art and Design, Helsinki.

Minna Koistinen came to Canada to further her studies in Sheridan College and has been Toronto based since 1997.

She has led numerous workshops with both corporate and community groups.

Several galleries in Canada and the U. S represent Minna Koistinen’s work. Collections include the ROM, Museum of Art and Design, NY and the Finnish Glass Museum.
