Sadness: Retro Fun appears to be closed. It had been a few years since last I was in Toronto, and this shop had been one of my favorite stops on the trip. Only place I’ve ever seen Whacky Packages trading cards, still in the package. Also, an official Knight Rider poster and random 80’s toys.

If you were ever looking for a Barbie doll sized figure of Captain James T. Kirk or a bountiful selection of tin lunchboxes from TV lore, Retro Fun is designed for you! A tad cramped but full of childhood goodness and memorabilia(including those«baseball» cards for such shows and groups as Golden Girls and New Kids on the Block respectfully — but don’t chew the gum they come with!) Admittedly, this place acts more like a museum of your childhood rather than a retail store. You spend most of your time telling yourself you need to buy something as you take a walk down memory lane than ACTUALLY buying anything but it is worth a visit. This could quite possibly be because there is just so much to take in. PS: I bought some Doctor Who figurines and have no regrets :)
