Very aggressive sales people. Don’t seem very knowledgeable. Couldn’t believe a large company such as Rogers would engage in such aggressive sales tactics…

Rogers Outrank isn’t the cheapest web marketing service out there. I know: I hired the cheapest first. You know that story… the nineteen-​year-​old son of a good friend. Yeah, that good friend and I aren’t speaking anymore and it took TWO YEARs to dig out of the well on the internet he threw us down.
When I signed up with Rogers Outrank I told them all this, and they said it would take time to recover from that bad reputation (the kid hired spammers to spam blogspot blogs with comments and nofollow links, he was clueless). They were right. At first it didn’t seem worth what I was paying because there I was, still page Five of Google and all the blowback for spamming was on review sites on the first page. But after four months we began to start getting calls.
I looked at the web again, talked to the Outrank guys, and sure enough, there we were climbing our way to the top of the first page. Growth has been steady ever since. After six months it was like that bad stuff never happened at all. I’m very, very happy with what they’ve done with my website, my internet marketing, and ultimately my reputation! If only they could fix things with my friend, who still thinks his son is Steve Freaking Jobs in a Mackelmore haircut.

These guys wasted two hours of my life I’ll never get back. They call you with high pressure sales tactics and try to sell you $ 1700 /​mo SEO. Several times during the call the sales rep excused the noise in the background, «because the Google CEOs are here celebrating with us». What a load of bull. They kept me on the phone for 45 minutes and when I declined (since joined a local SEO company that is $ 500/​mo and more effective), they called me over ten times, leaving voicemail and emails. LAY OFF!
