Like others have said, this No Frills is pretty damn big. Produce selection is pretty good with some ethnic variety. The meats and seafood variety are definitely better than your average grocery store, likely because of the demographic in this area. Three things I’m not so okay with: 1. For such a big space, the aisles are too narrow. Other customers and I end up having to weave around those ginormous pallets to avoid each other. Also, not quite wheelchair friendly because of this. 2. The layout of the store doesn’t completely make sense. I find my shopping trips here to be very long simply because I can’t find items where I’d usually expect them to be. The layouts at Loblaws and Freshco are much easier to memorize. 3. Please fix your bike rack. I don’t know why that sorry piece of loose metal is still on the floor by the side of the building.

Good prices, better laid out than my nearest No Frills at Jane/Lawrence. Still, someone needs to tell these guys it’s not smart to block the aisles with skids piled up to the ceiling, nor is it the greatest idea to decide to re-stock the shelves and block the aisles with MORE piled up skids while the customers are trying to shop. If said customer politely asks you if she can get by with her cart, you do NOT tell her, «Oh, you can go around!» STOCKFIRST, customers last. Safety? What’s that? Might someone get hurt in a store blocked everywhere like this? NAAAAH: P That was the soft drinks aisle, today. I should have walked out. But like the meek polite Torontonian I am, I awkwardly walked around the obstacles and the stock boys and bought my cases of pop. And this is one of the BETTER No Frills stores!

Good grocery store, has everything I could ever want! Lots of variety here and best of all the prices are super cheap. The only thing is the staff and honestly the customers who shop there are very rude. Only go here if its the for the convenience, but not any other reason. dont try this place

This No Frills is MASSIVE! It has a Meat and Seafood Counter as well as a pharmacy — convenient services not found in all locations. The Meat counter had fresh cuts of meat available. The Seafood Counter had a great variety of seafood that you may not typically see at a typical supermarket such as lobster, scallops, octopus, squid, tuna, snapper, etc. Things looked relatively fresh. This No Frills seemed to be well stocked — although I couldn’t find one item on my shopping list — Quinoa. Some other reviewers have horror stories of long lines at this location but fortunately I did not experience this during my visit. I would say this No Frills has better selection than most and I would go back!

This place isn’t TERRIBLE. There is a meat and seafood counter. I was able to find basically everything I was looking for. But the lineups were ridiculous. The place was packed on a Sunday afternoon, and there were still closed checkouts. The lineup to check out was seriously 15 – 20 minutes. Which, I guess doesn’t sound like a lot, except I’m used to waiting about 4 minutes, just about anywhere else.

I find it exciting to check out different grocery stores. I had to pick up something at a client’s office at Black Creek/Eglinton yesterday and then was going to get groceries. I usually go to Peter’s No Frills(Lansdowne/Dundas) but thought I’d check out Ross’ since I was in the area. From the outside, it looks HUGE … but it’s really cramped inside. There are many aisles and two carts can barely pass each other. The selection of stuff wasn’t as large as Peter’s(I ended up stopping there afterwards to get protein powder and Advil). There were 15 checkouts and they were all open … and there were huge line-ups. I waited about 10 minutes in line. Looking around at the cashiers, I could see that they were soooo not engaged or happy with their jobs … and it was painfully obvious. I won’t be back.
