I agree, the choices were much nicer than the Hakim across the street. We had a great experience choosing and buying glasses for my 7 yr old. The gentleman was not only helpful, he was kind. The glasses were ready in a few days, just as he said.

This place is far more better than Hakim or the eyeglasses world place located nearby. Not only did they assist by fixing my older glasses(for free), they were very helpful with the selection of frames that was a better fit for my face. Although there were a language barrier(I’m Deaf and use sign language), the communication was great as they were very forthcoming and accommodating. I’m surprised that they didn’t get a lot of reviews considering the superb service I received on several occassions. This place reguarly update their stocks with current frames and although they do have expensive name-brands, they also do offer moderately-priced frames that are well suited just as well.

I gave them a try in the spirit of wanting to support small business in the neighborhood. They turned out to be as pricey as the big guys and the frames were just as poorly designed and flimsy. They pulled my leg a bit, however, in terms of when they would ready – it was two weeks vs. the claim of two or three days – and I had to deal with a fair amount of attitude and arrogance in seeking a fix to the new glasses, a fix that proved elusive in the end as they fell apart on me. They were also really difficult and unpleasant about returning my prescription so that I could get a replacement pair elsewhere. In other words, they offer a similar product at similar prices with a lot more hassle.
