I realize that purchasing leather gloves makes me the worst vegan ever. But I said it first, so you can’t accuse me later. On to the review with minimal cognitive dissonance: I came here late in the season after one glove of two was sacrificed to a night out. I was very pleased with the selection. They offer a range of sizes for all the gloves on display and if you like the design but not the colour of a given glove, they probably carry it in different colours — so just ask. Service was superb. A young man in his mid-twenties, fashionably but also professionally dressed. He was willing to engage in some humorous banter with me but also provided efficient and knowledgeable service. The shop itself is small but due to the high ceilings and careful displays, the space feels spacious rather than suffocating. It’s located in the shadow of two large staircases so it is easily missed. I purchased a grey dotted glove that was on display(no discounts for display models). All gloves are leather and made in Italy and prices range from $ 100-$ 200. A note on quality: I had to get one of the gloves hemmed after only a month of wear. The thread connecting the lining and outer layer was frayed. I was disappointed at the quality as I am a moderate glove user and don’t do anything intense with my hands. I would definitely suggest coming here if you enjoy trying on and purchasing gloves as much as I do. Maybe don’t purchase a display model, though.
