I work at Richmond and Spadina and I visit this place at least once a week. The owner Marwan is great, wonderful customer service and he knows how to treat his regulars. The food is excellent and the portions are generous. My favourite meal is the chicken shawarma plate at $ 10 with a drink it’s not crazy expensive and I am always full and totally satisfied. I have yet to find a better shawarma place in a 3 block radius.

I wanted the gyro, but they ran out, so i settled for a chicken shawrma instead. It was ok. it was kinda plain and not very flavorful or tasty. But they were very polite and kind… It was filled with a lot of veges… which unfortunately, is not my thing.

I honestly LOVE Shawarma so when this new joint opened up, I got really giddy and wanted to be the first to try it. I always get my usual Chicken Shawarma as I think the meat is more tender and seasoned compared to beef. When I saw«Muhammed»(as I re-called was his name) fully stuffing my shawarma with meat and literally every type of veggies that were on display(you can imagine it was huge!) my mouth was watering… But like they say, looks can be deceiving as the sandwich became soggy and dripped with their sauce. Why do they over-drench the sandwiches in watery, soupy sauce? That I’ll never understand. I also didn’t appreciate the taste of the veggies as it was basically soaked in vinegar and tasted very sour! Bleeeekk! I was honestly only able to eat half of my shawarma as I could NOT stand the sour taste. Overall, the shawarma was not in a typical Middle Eastern style, it was not what I expected.
