I love this Shoppers Drug Mart location! You have got to go see the place. The back of the space use to be a cinema and they maintained the high-ceilings and retro wood paneling — beautiful! The store is well stocked and staff are friendly.

This new Shoppers Drug Mart in Bloor West Village is likely the nicest Shoppers in all of Canada! They did a beautiful job maintaining and enhancing the interior of this century old heritage movie theatre. In addition, the cosmetics section is very impressive along with the other areas of the store. They likely had some challenges getting a large Shoppers to fit perfectly in an old 2 story movie theatre but they did a great job. Myself and my kids went to get our flu shots there today and the pharmacist who administered the shots was friendly and professional and put my kids at ease for the vaccine. Thank you.

This is the worst Shoppers drug Mart experience I have ever had in the pharmacy. It took me two hours to fill a prescription for pain medication for my 91-year-old mother who had to wait two hours in the car in the dark in pain due to the incompetencies of this terrible terrible pharmacy. When I first went in the wait was so long I had to bail. Then I had to go back again because I couldn’t find another alternative pharmacy open at this time. The wait now was even longer. Then it became another 20 minutes longer than they told me. And then they fulfilled the order incorrectly and it was yet again another 10 minutes. How in gods name does it take two hours to hand an old woman her Tylenol three prescription. The incompetence was only matched by the attitude. Seriously unhelpful. Incompetent buffoons. Never ever ever go to this place again. If I had driven an hour out of my wayto get my prescription filled It would have still taken half the time that this terrible experience took. My poor mom. It also cost me three different parking meter tickets. And then finally they expired and I was slammed with a $ 40 parking ticket. Perfect ending to the most Inexcusable experience. Avoid this place at all costs.

Very nice, new and clean shoppers location. Super close to runnymede subway so it’s very convenient to go to and for people dwelling in bloor west village area. Customer service here is so friendly and kind– a few times I was shy a bit for change on products I was purchasing and they’re always very sweet and make up the rest or say next time bring it. Definitely my go to shoppers when along bloor west!

I am loving this new shoppers! I love the variety of products(much more than the old shoppers) because they have much more space now. They have a lot of «grocery items» especially PC items. There are 2 things that made me give them a 4 over a 5 Star rating… #1 the steps and escalators are a bit annoying. I get the escalators because there is a second floor… but there are stairs all throughout so if you have a cart you cannot go down with it… there are ramps here and there and that could be interesting in the winter when the floors get wet and it looks like it would be sooo slippery! #2 the reception staff are BRUTAL. I know they have some new hires but they are so slow, they are always chatting and not paying attention to what they are doing… I am all for having fun at work but not when there is a line up of people waiting and staring at you! Also, the counters are SUPERTALL! So if you are vertically challenged its not fun. not to mention if you are in a wheelchair!!? I feel like whoever designed the layout didnt think too much about those details. Anyways. good Shoppers just some minor irritants!

This location is now closed. They have now relocated to their new place in the Runnymede Theatre. A nice store, well laid out. Because it is new they have several well-meaning greeters. Too much! Too in-you’re-face. A lady almost wrestled me to the floor(slight exaggeration) to get me to take a basket. «I don’t need it.» «For your purchases,» «I know what it’s for but I don’t want one.» They are running historical slides of the theatre where the screen used to be. A nice touch. Apart from trying to dodge the greeters, a pleasant place to shop.

What a terrible layout this Shoppers has: not only are you forced to go through the cosmetics on the way in, but you have to squeeze through a narrow corner to get to the actual drug store part, which isn’t much bigger than the cosmetics area. They also seem to have a disproportionate amount of non-health related products at this location, including Wii games(and many more dubious than the vaguely health-beneficial Wii Fit board). All in all, this location is a serviceable Shoppers. The selection of stuff you would want in a drug store is all there, and when I’ve had prescriptions filled here, there was nothing to complain about. I just wish there wasn’t so much peripheral junk about that belongs in other stores.
