A-oh-kay. Nothing special about this location. Cool location near Yonge and Bloor, just south of Bloor. It’s across the street from a McDonald and a Dollarama. Service can be slow if it’s around rush hour but other than that it’s a decent convenient location. Witnessed a theft here so there’s a handful of sketchy people outside and around the store. Pro tip: Avoid the beggars outside. Pro tip 2: No post office inside, but there’s one across the street on Yonge.

Fast service, in a bright spot, however limited selection on «to go» groceries or at least it was very poorly organized. I believe most Shoppers sell instant oatmeal and I was starving this morning and I couldn’t find it!!! I looked three times in their«food» section(which is also very limited). So not the best place to pick up instant food. Also, if u just need a pack of gum, just go to the conveinence store across from it as there is always a long lineup at this Shoppers.

Skittles are half off this week! In general, I find this location to be really busy(it is by the subway after all), and not as well stocked. But it is definitely convenient.

I came in for one thing: makeup removing cloths. I came out with the cloths and some eyeliner(one that was highly recommended on the talk forums, thank you!) I was really impressed with their makeup selection, as I’d been looking for this particular liner for a while and didn’t want to trek to Sephora. The lady at the makeup counter helped me find it right away and was able to tell me a bit about it, too. She then told me that they were going to expand their makeup section soon. Pretty exciting. Great service, great selection!

The other reviews are true — this Shoppers is rammed 86% of the time(yes, that’s an exact figure). My review is based on the pharmacy though(give me the drugs!). I had the worst cold of all time last Friday and it happened to coincide with a particularly busy day at work. I was in desperate need of pharmaceuticals, but I was also terrified because I know that I’m severely allergic to a lot of cold and flu medications(wasn’t really in the mood for a trip to the emerg). When I walked into Shoppers I was floored by how many sinus medications there were to choose from! I had no clue which ones could potentially kill me, so I made haste for the pharmacy counter and asked for the pharmacists assistance. She was SUPER helpful and took the time to make sure that the medication I selected didn’t contain the decongestant that I know I’m allergic to. She also told me which medications wouldn’t make me drowsy so that I would be able to get through the rest of the work day. I was very impressed by the experience I had and the medication that she suggested did the trick and didn’t make my throat close over! Win-win! :D

Located on the concourse level of The Bay store located on Yonge and Bloor Streets, this Shoppers Drug Mart is conveniently located for those working at the office tower above or heading to/from the TTC subway station located nearby. Not much of a grocery section, but the remainder of the store is well stocked with cosmetics, household goods, and other personal care items commonly found in other stores in the chain.

Being located right next to the Subway and combined with other location details this Shoppers is always busy. Expect to wait in a 3 person deep line at all times. The staff though are quick and will have you out of there in no time.
