Every photography studio is supposed to run like how Sin3rgy Creative runs, yet Sin3rgy Creative is the only studio that I know of that runs like how it’s supposed to. The equipment comes with the studio rental, which is a huge bargain. When I say equipment, I mean strobes, soft boxes, reflectors, all the lighting and power set-up I would need. All of the equipment are compatible with the major brands: Canon, Nikon, Sony. At already the lowest price I could find, there is a $ 50 discount if one is to bring their own equipment. Parking is free, but one should exercise the Hail Mary for parking to even be available. So even if I travel less to rent a studio downtown, I would still accumulate parking fees if I rented another studio. I would feel guilty asking my models and make-up artists to pay for parking, but what’s a photographer to do? There is a respectable sized reception that also can be rented for meetings/office functions, but I prefer to get close and comfortable on the couch in the studio with the models. Strictly professional. The ceilings are higher than Snoop Doggy Dog, and there are three backdrops situated in front of a large green screen. A faux brick background I use for a specific series on YouTube, and a small section dedicated for make-up artists with chairs and drawers. All encompassing, I’ve never been to another studio where all of these things exists, not to mention included in the rentals packages. A new studio will have issues, for example: The heating works best in the reception area, and the upstairs office. But nobody is allowed in the upstairs office unless they are using the sound proof room for audio stuff, and who on Earth would hold a photoshoot in the reception? It’s not unbearably cold, but I think Sin3rgy Creative is the only place where I’ve suggested to the manager to purchase a fan to UP the temperature by blowing hot air from the reception to the studio floor. David said he’ll fix it, so far I’ve only seen him looking at more coats. I also wish there is a change room, which is also something David is supposedly working on. Washroom is spacious, but a dedicated area for changing outfits would be the finishing touch. The existence of this studio means I might never ever have to buy my own lighting set-up, or add things such as parking onto my overhead, makes it easier for clients and my own marketing. The best feature is that my tenure with them never expires, unlike other competitors whose membership/uses must be completed by the end of each year. This means more money traveling!
