History

Established in 2012.

The name Skin+Bones is two-​sided. It hints at the minimalist industrial space we’ve created at 980 Queen East and also refers to the skin of grapes and the bones of animals. Grape skins play a large part in the winemaking process lending colour, tannin and to a degree, structure to wine. Bones infuse the deepest flavor into a dish and are essential to the essence of the meat we eat.

Our warm, industrial space has intimate window seating, a 14ft hand-​crafted bar, a harvest table for 16 (with a front row view of the kitchen action!) and an open, relaxed dining room with banquette or tabletop seating. The choice is yours!
