We have a large selection of meditation cushions, mats, benches, support cushions and other supplies such as incense, timers, Tibetan singing bowls, books, teas, buddhas, and much more in our Toronto location. If you require posture assistance and picking a cushion for yourself, come in for a customized ‘fitting’ according to your body’s needs.

Established in 1979.

We started as ‘Tibetan Arts and Crafts’ and are now ‘Snow Lion: The Meditation Shop’. We have the largest selection of meditation supplies and spirituality in Canada.

This shop is under-​marketed but quite amazing for buckwheat pillows and cushions.
It’s RIGHT across from Pape station (literally), and you will see a sign for a Hair Salon instead, but the Meditation Shoppe (Snow Lion) is right up the stairs to the right.
CALL BEFORE YOU GO. The guy is not always there (mom and pop shoppe deal), and he is very VERY nice, pleasant and wonderful to deal with.
I came away feeling like I had better karma already. He even apologized for how expensive the items were, which tells me he isn’t overcharging — he’s just trying to make a modest profit.
Frankly, I’d rather give my money to these guys than the overhyped, overpriced shops of Bloor Street that SAY they have buckwheat, organic, eco-​friendly pillows, but in the end, they’re charging you $ 50 for something worth $ 25.
Love. They also have things for meditation altars, books, even teas. It’s a very tiny little shop, but very warm and welcoming. Makes me want to start meditating.
They also do yoga classes!
