Established in 1934.

The Great Canadian Sox Co. was established in 1934 and is Canadian owned and operated. J.B. Field’s is our flagship brand and is one of the oldest companies in Canada! It was originally set up to manufacture socks designed for the logging industry, but now focuses mainly on outdoor adventure socks. We carry a wide selection of socks under various labels, for almost any and every activity, also covering a wide variety of medical conditions such as diabetic and compression socks.

What makes us unique is that we make extreme cold weather socks for –30,-40, and –50 degrees, as well as dress, sports and medical socks. We combine the latest manufacturing techniques with technical fibers like coolmax and celliant, to make sure we are always one step ahead of the competition.

Siddarth Khimasia has worked for his family business, The Great Canadian Sox Co. since 2006. After growing the online business through amazon, ebay and their own business webpage, great​sox​.com, he felt that the next step was to open a retail store in Toronto. In November of 2015, Socks Outlet was opened at 980 Danforth to provide quality and locally made socks to the public at great prices.
