Spacing Store is a shop in the basement of 401 Richmond Street West that focuses on showcasing memorabilia, clothing, literature and art that demonstrates hometown pride. Almost every product is emblazoned with the name ‘Toronto’ on it, or has something to do with being a Torontonian living in Canada. It’s full of unique items that appeal to various tastes. Gift shoppers might want to stop here to get something rare and inspiring for their family and friends. Most things are moderately priced, and a lot of the products are designed by local brands here in Canada. It’s a nicely curated collection of souvenirs that represent where we live.

Very cool shop dedicated to Toronto(and city) love. Tons of neat things to browse including books, bags, shirts, and coasters. My favourite things in this shop are the prints. They are awesome and there are many to choose from. They definitely have some neighbourhood representation going on as well. If you want to get something that is Toronto themed come here! The stuff is not tacky nor touristy. In fact, it feels to me like the collection they carry is very true to Toronto. The TTC token cufflinks are a neat find for a serious gift. Stop in! You’ll walk out with something quintessentially TO!

I’ve emailed the store 3 times asking about future availability of products that have been showing as out of stock on their site, and have never received a response. They’ve got the email address prominently displayed on their page — — but either they don’t look at it, or just can’t be bothered to respond. Ignoring a customer who wants to give them money doesn’t seem like a particularly good way to start a new business…
