History

Established in 1980.

Sugars Costumes Studio was founded with a primary interest in the rental & sale of costumes, but we quickly recognized the need for mascots. In 1985, we began running a full-​time custom character mascot department, which continued to grow through word-​of-​mouth advertising. We became Sugars Mascots.

We developed the mascot business to become a leader in the industry by the early 1990s. Ever expanding, we recently moved the operation to a large loft facility in midtown Toronto. This convenient, central location now provides us with ‘state of the art’ facilities for the production and maintenance of any kind and any quantity of mascot.

To this day, our best advertising is our vast portfolio and client references! As an international producer, we have found that the development of our production process and our long term production staff have made long-​distance business a breeze. We are innovative and on the cutting edge of new developments in the mascot industry.

Manager

With 16 years of management experience at our sister company while consulting for Sugars Mascots since 2000 Jennifer moved into a full-​time position with Sugars Mascots in December of 2010. In the new role of VP, Jennifer is responsible for marketing, sales and the general operation. We foresee a bright future with Jennifer and the company.
