i rarely write reviews, but i stumble in here and read some of the negative comments which in my opinion goes against to my experience. therefore, i’d like to provide my 2 cents. i have been living in canada since the 80’s and grew up in scarborough both for school and for work, i am very familiar with scarborough town centre. from time to time, i make visit to this branch for financial service and each time after my visit, i have confident knowing i had taken care of my business and had partnered with the best bank i entrusted my money with. my experience with this branch had always been positive (other banks just can’t provide). when i read how other individuals provided negative reviews, my thoughts is that they had probably little to no experience at other banks, and that their reason being at the branch can probably managed thru other channels like online banking, telephone or thru the ATM machine, i sincerely hope people know and expect to use the front line service of the bank for more complicated and complex banking issues where only a bank staff can service and don’t abuse the staff with simple things like taking small amount of cash or pay simple bills where it can be accomplished thru other means which are faster and more efficient. dont’ be wasting valuable resources and be a whinner when you are there asking for help to be spoon feed. A bad review is always easy to write as it is always easier to say something negative! However, this particular TD branch just makes it too easy to be negative. The service is super slow! The tellers seem to not know what they are doing! And there is never, never, ever enough staff!
You would think that an organization like TD would know to staff its branch will all the tellers they need to survive such a busy location like this one. It is inside the mall so there is more traffic than other branches. Every time I come here there is always a line up! Alway! As the limited staff/​tellers are not enough to service the more than usual traffic. What a joke, I get faster service at the emergency room when I cut my self shaving and I need some one to kiss it!
I can deal with the other point, like incompetent staff. But the slow service and lack of warm bodies behind the counter is unforgivable! Waiting for the second coming of Christ has been a joy compared to the wait at this TD branch!

This is definitely the worst TD branch. It is always so busy and the information desk person is not always staffed. I have left 2 voicemail messages and never got a call back which they say they will do withiin 2 business hours. If I can give a zero rating I would.

I have been banking here for years. Their tellers are always polite and friendly, however, I find the managers and the people that work at the help desk to be completely useless and lacking customer service. If TD made this promotion and I come in asking about this promotion, you better know what I’m talking about or make an attempt to find out what I’m talking about. To tell me that you can’t find the promotion but later are able to pull it up from the computer? You have one job! Not to mention, there are no smiles and life in them as if they have a terrible job. If you don’t like the job, feel free to resign so there will be an opening and someone like me can take your place. How fortunate you are to have a job at TD and yet you can’t even do it right. If your branch made a banking error that is inconveniencing me, it is your duty to rectify it. Not hand me a brochure asking me to further waste my time to call a number and have to explain it to them all over again. What part of «your branch’s mistake» did you not understand? To tell me that you can’t do anything at the branch level and that only the higher ups can do something. but who’s fault was this mistake though? If anything, YOU should call in to the higher ups and correct this mistake right now instead of giving me lame excuses since you don’t know how to do your job and trying to make me leave the branch. Manager’s attitude was also unacceptable.
