This was all over my fb news feed when it first opened. Surprised there are not more Unilocal reviews. Went for a private event hosted at Addisons. It has a nice house party atmosphere. There are 3 rooms, first room you come across once entering has long tables for a kind of communal dining, after that is a game room with a fireplace and low lighting. Very cozy. At the very back, the final room is more for watching sports and playing games like foosball and air hockey. However, when I went some of the machines weren’t working. Also, it was kinda dusty and some flies flying around. Ew. Hope they clean more regularly. I think they have a live band playing on regular nights too, not sure where they would be though. Overall, I would come back to see how it is on a regular night. I don’t think they charge cover.

I went here on a Saturday night to celebrate a friends birthday. I had an event before so could not reach the venue until about 11pm. When I got there I saw a HUGE line so I immediately went to the bouncer at the front(taller Asian guy) just to ask what was going on inside/to get an approximate wait time so I could update my friends who were already inside. The bouncer basically laughed at me and asked why I would show up anywhere at 11pm as if I have never been out in Toronto/don’t know how to act. He told me to ask the bouncer beside him because he didn’t know anything. I proceeded to ask the other bouncer(maybe Middle Eastern, short, wearing a toque) and he just looked at me blankly and said«I’m busy.» I was really frustrated being on my own and having to wait in this massive line. I am 27 years old and felt like these bouncers were treating people in line like we were underage drunk people who deserve to wait in the cold for over 45 minutes. Turns out when I got inside the place wasn’t even full and it was a pretty horrible establishment with an awkward set up and God awful music. I would have left if I didn’t absolutely need to be at this birthday, but rest assured I will never go back here.

This has recently turned into a popular after work destination and a Friday venue for me and my friends so writing this review from the point of someone who just likes to drink… all the time. This used to be C-Lounge(hated that place), and it has been done up really fancy. Like many of the online reviews states this is like drinking in your rich friends house. The main area when you walk in reminds you of a super nice kitchen area. Walking through there you go into what looks more like a living area and then finally right at the back a games area. Btw your rich friend has an old streetfighter arcade, nba one, air hockey, foosball and shuffle board. What sucks about the arcades though is that the screens face up so your back will hurt after 10 minutes of trying to play. It has started to get busier on the nights, that is when the staff are pretty attentive but if you get there around 5pm the staff are sometimes so busy talking to their friends that it feels like you are interrupting them whenever you want a drink. That annoys me so that needs fixing.

3.2÷5 This place is located at where the good old c lounge used to be. So when I went to its opening night, I was impressed with its complete make over. The place was filled with simple 60s-70s retro style furnitures that make you to think like you just walked into a cool house party. This cool modern retro«house» lounge is divided into three spaces: «dining room», «living room» and«recreation room». «the dining room» has a big wooden table so ppl can sit and drink around it. «the living room» has few small tables, comfy chairs and stools so you can have your drink services while you are listening to DJ right next you. Lastly, «the rec room» has TV, table football and air hockey so you can play games with your friends. Every space has full bars and patio is coming up soon. Over all, the concept of the place is definitely different from other lounges /clubs in toronto. It really allow you to feel like you are invited to someone’s fancy house party. It was all good except the place was too cramped with all the furnitures. It was very hard to dance around nor move room to room. They literally just opened so I hope they will rearrange the setting a little bit in a future so it allows ppl to dance around and mingle better. Currently they have no cover and has $ 4 drinks to 10pm deal going on right now so I might check this place out again.
