Renters — STAY AWAY! If you’re looking for a mediocre, overpriced, roach infested apartment, this is the place for you!
A friend of mine lives in a Timbercreek apartment (27 Vanier Drive, Guelph). The apartments themselves look beautiful and are all newly renovated, but don’t let this fool you. After moving in, the tenants started discovering bugs in the apartment. It started with ants and fruit flies, which are pretty easy to control. Over time there were cockroaches appearing in the unit. I had fallen asleep on the couch and woke up to a cockroach on my chest. GROSS!!! I freaked out and the tenants contacted the landlord. They arranged for someone to come and remove the bugs from the unit but it didn’t work. This is the 3^rd time they will be coming to try getting rid of the bugs. This is at a serious inconvenience to the tenants as they have to take a day off work to accommodate the bug removal company. They also had to empty all cabinets, and clean up after the removal company because they make such a mess. When the tenants were seeking compensation in the form of decreased rent that month, the landlord laugh and told them not a chance. This is not at the fault of the tenant, but rather the fault of a shitty company and even shitter building management team.
This past weekend we have seen at least 7 people fleeing from their units due to the bugs. Some are even claiming rats are in their units.
I’d highly suggest looking elsewhere if you are in need of an apartment. Unless, you like roaches…

Simply put, it is the shittiest asset management company I have ever dealt with. Although this apartment, in 205 hunter st west Hamilton, is new (they built refurbished a whole floor), issues and problems are not stoppable. Their management I believe can barely handle managing a grocery store (I doubt it, I wouldn’t handed them mine if I had one I swear I’m not joking). Giving it a second thought, they can handle a car service centre and they would do good at it. They put nice and professional people at the front to get you, but once you are in, all the big BS comes out even from day one. I truly mean it, if you see timbercreed, run the other side, and don’t let them fool you by the nice presentation overall.

My Timbercreek apt (Omeath Court 30 Central Pkwy W Missisaauga) is infested with roaches, and bed bugs. I had many RATS living above my ceiling for 6 months. I wasn’t able to recover well from my surgery (illiness) because I was disturbed by rats day and night non stop.
Whenever I inform the management about rat infestation in my unit and the building, they told me «…everything is an emergency for you. .» After 6 months of suffering, the city ordered the Timbercreek management to act on getting rid of rats. Since then, rat infestation seems to be in control.
The management including regional office in Mississauga and head office in Toronto don’t seem to care about tenants.
The management seems like have no experience because when I asked them to update my phone number, the buzzer didn’t get to be updated. When I informed the management about buzzer not updated the manager lady says «you didn’t specify …» is she for real???
The whole apt is filthy. The management lady maybe will vaccume once a month. This place is disgusting!!!
I did everything to have management to do their job properly by calling the city, calling Timbercreek tenant complain line, emailing regional office in Mississauga but nothing has changed. The cleaning lady comes to work but not cleaning the apt.
I am afraid if management don’t keep up with a proper
management, the rat s will come back.

Mr Blair Tamblyn, CEO but I didnt get a reply.

If you have any issues and speak about them with Regional Manager of 75 Broadway Ave. in Toronto, her reply is «if you don’t like it — move».
This should give you an idea what you are getting yourself into.

DO NOT MOVE THERE! 75 Broadway Ave is a rental property. The management are so stupid must have no education to belong to this team. The building is dirty always doing construction even till 9pm on most nights! My new unit falls apart all the time management are rude and sit in the office laughing all day. What I hear from other tenants they harass the older tenants and even the seniors! The place always smells like piss and smoke! There is no security they keep the back door open all day for the construction workers. What I hear, there was a homeless person sleeping in the basement all summer pissing and shitting everywhere! The price to rent is crazy! Totally not worth the money. If you are reading this do yourself and family a favour by looking elsewhere! Oh, yeah. Can you say BED BUGS!
