The staff are super friendly here and it’s the only place I know of that can place in an order of tollden kelp for me. They’re also fantastic at grooming, but unfortunately a little pricey (I used to pay $ 90 for my girl when I lived in the West end, and Timmie’s charges me about $ 110-​$ 120). So unfortunately I have to hunt down a new groomer.

We are a big fan of the Canadan Pooch line and they carry a variety of jackets and sweaters here. And it’s not just for big dogs — they have different sizes to fit all different size dogs.
Good selection of treats and food as well!

Timmie is our favourite pet store. They have the cutest toys and clothes, the best treats (and bakery), and just put extra special care and attention into our babies when they go in for grooming. If I had any complaint, it would be that they are too popular! You have to book them months in advance!

Things you will find at Timmie: an eclectic variety of toys, clothes, food and treats, and other special canine things, a lot at generally decently prices. There are usually a couple loose dogs running around, and the place is usually punctuated by the smiling presence of Paul the store owner. Some stuff are different than what one may find in their Queen West location, but the stuff does rotate accordingly to the seasons (want a Christmas themed chicken squeeze toy?). This is a boutique pet store with some personality where many other area dog lovers may be found spending more time than they should.
Things you will never find here: anything to do with cats. Of course not, duh! There is never any of this «sorry, maybe you will find her size in the kitty section» crap like I put up with in a big-​box pet store.
Which reminds me: if you have a small dog, like for example a Chihuahua, they may not have a tiny size if you’re looking for clothing or a harness. Though they will make an effort to find something or have something special ordered for you. Which is a lot better than being told to find something where scratching posts are sold (absolutely impossible for a store that only focuses on dogs).
I can’t speak of their grooming services, but this is my neighborhood go-​to place for high quality doggie treats. My bitch is hooked on those cute cookies at the counter, which is all that seems to matter to her about Timmie.

5 star customer service from Paul. I called frantically this afternoon for a groomers appointment as my mini golden doodle is covered in burrs (not very smart of him). Although Paul could not fit me in, he could tell how desperate I was and compiled a list of other groomers who could possibly help me out.
On another note, I’m a huge fan of Timmie’s and the Leslieville branch carries different items from the Queen West one. Both stores have a large variety of brands, designs and they are very well priced. Personally, I prefer the selection of accessories that Queen West carry, but to each his own.
In a nutshell, thank you Paul for the amazing service! I will definitely be bringing my dog to this branch for a grooming :)

While living in Leslieville, Timmie was my go to dog store and groomer. My dog and I were always treated well and we were always happy with the products and service we received.
Timmie is also a great place to get your dogs Soccer gear around Euro Cup and the World Cup. I would highly recommend Timmie Doggie Outfitters for all your dogs needs. Oh and they carry cat stuff too ;).

Great store — in fact my dog pulls towards it when we walk by. Great selection of everything you’ll need for a furry friend — I’ve purchased treats, toys, shampoo and they even have large size dog sweaters. Super friendly staff and happy to see they are also are great members of the community. Recently in December they had Santa photos for the dogs with all money going to charity. Great job!
I’ve also been very happy with their grooming — Tiffany is great and all the dogs love her. It’s not inexpensive but I know they do a good job and the dogs have fun and come back looking great.

What a GREAT little local dog shop in our new hood. My husband and I recently moved from Queen and Broadview area where we would usually visit The Bone House as it was the nearest dog shop but we always found it unnecessarily over priced. We were on a serious mission to find our dog an indestructible frisbee which resulted us visiting 6 – 7 different dog shops. We came across Timmie’s for the first time and found exactly what we needed, the West Paw Zisc is absolutely perfect for teaching your dog to fetch and it won’t make their gums bleed. In addition, the staff was super helpful and pleasant to chat with. I love that this store in so close to me now.

Great pet store with a small but well chosen selection of products. They carry really stylish leashes and collars, and healthy treats and foods. I also like their selection of dog-​care products (shampoo, ear cleaner, paw protector and the like). Friendly staff too.

A block from home is a place with quality catfood. I find the clerks in the store to be very helpful when I’m trying to find a new catfood for my finicky beasts who seem to get bored with any given food within a month!
Very friendly to dog owners — there are usually a few pups hanging around in the store when I go there.

Just had another great grooming experience here. I love the vibe, services and merchandise of both locations as well as the staff who are always friendly and helpful. My toy poodle Logan and I will be coming back for sure!

I used to bring both my dogs to both locations, both of my dogs have passed away. However, both my dogs loved going to Timmie’s. I’ve dealth with both Paul and Georges and they have always been professional and very helpful. The odd time that I had to return an item I was given a full refund. I miss going there I should stop by and say hi to Timmie and Tessie

Great selection of products at Timmie’s and very friendly staff. My dog Frankie loves visiting the store and pulls toward the door every time we walk by, even if the store is closed.
While I still like to visit the store for toys and other dog accessories (like their cute food/​water dishes), I had one bad experience that left me hesitant to buy dog food from here. I have since received a sincere and heartfelt apology from the owner for the mishap, so I’ve removed the details of that incident from this review.
Like I said, I still visit the store for treats, toys and accessories, but now buy Frankie’s food elsewhere for my own peace of mind.

I’m usually in Timmie once a month or so, to buy Acana dog food and treats for my two pooches. The service has always been great, and the people who work there are pretty knowledgeable about the products they carry. I also dig the selection of fashionable collars, leashes, and accessories because admittedly I am a vain person and I don’t like my dog to wear the same webbed nylon collar/​leash that the rest of the hoi polloi (hoi puppoi?) are wearing. ;) The stuff there is rather spendy, but the quality is good. Highly recommended.

Catch them at the end of season (NOW!) for discounts. Five star for the friendly staff, special occasion baked treats, natural treats and fantastically curated adorable pet goods. Out of all the pet stores in the area I like this one best.

After being contacted by the owner on a number of occasions, I’m improving their star ranking. The owner, Paul, is nice, and really wants me to update this.
I’m very happy that my dogs aren’t injured. And am thankful they were returned in good health.

They have a good selection of carefully chosen dog treats, toys and accessories. They also do grooming in the back. As Paul*, the owner told me, their groomer is one of the top poodle groomers in the city. He showed me their grooming «salon» and it was neat, clean and well-​equipped.
He was very patient and well informed in response to my numerous questions.
*I found out he was the owner by searching the Googler and finding him on Linkedin.
NB Should really get 3.5 stars because it is rather small with a limited selection and they don’t carry our preferred food, but I can see some people loving this place.
