Timmie Doggie Outfitters, is an exclusive pet boutique carrying clothing, designer toys, accessories, treats, gourmet food and grooming for the posh-pooch and glamour-puss.

History

Established in 2006.

Graphic designers, Paul Ryu and Georges Khayat, were creating innovative concepts

for their design shop, Untitled _Art.

Timmie, their fetching, four-legged friend, had just finished cleaning up the lunch

leftovers when he turned to the guys and said,

«Yo dudes. We need to do more. We need to make a difference. We need to make the

world a better place. We need to open a doggie boutique.»

Ryu and Khayat considered this for a moment. Listening to a dog for creative solutions

isn’t standard practice, but truth be told, the majority of Untitled _Art’s creative successes

are based on Timmie’s suggestions, and certainly all the award-winning campaigns are

thanks to him.

So, the Timmie team set to work merging the two worlds and creating the ultimate

pooch-tique experience.

I took my little Shih tzu mix for a grooming here and had a wonderful experience. Everyone was so kind to her and most importantly, the hair cut was fabulous! She was given the hair cut I had asked for exactly and it took pretty much exactly the time they said it would (I was quoted 2 – 3 hours and got the call to come pick her up at 2.5 hours).
The selection of toys and treats here are great that I always end up walking out with a bag of cookies or a new stuffed squeak toy for my pup when I visit.
I’m new to the neighbourhood and this is 100% our regular grooming/shopping spot now.

I am picking up my new puppy next week, so I decided to drop by this store and get a few last minute items. The two male staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We were initially helped by a young, lady who turned us over to the hands of whom I think was the owner because she admittedly was not able to answer our questions. This is a great store to pick up some speciality pet supplies and it was fun just browsing around. My wife bought some really cute dog treats that the owner wrapped up nicely for us after we told him it was a gift for our friend. Great experience and the products are of great quality. Just be prepared to spend a lot more than what you were initially planning. We will definitely go back.

Great groomer in my area! I brought my Morkie in for a full grooming and couldn’t be happier. Perfect, even cut and Molly was very happy and comfortable when I picked her up. She was ready right when they said she would be which is a huge plus. Another great plus is they give $ 5 off your first grooming. Very pleased and will definitely be back. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is that I found it a little on the pricey side at almost $ 70.

Great friendly staff who always extend a treat to my dog.
Decent selection of chew toys, treats, and bones.
Their doggy clothing is always up to date with the season/trends such as world cup jerseys or winter parkas (aka. Canadian pooch).
They have locally made treats as well as high end top of the line food options.
A glass counter holds fresh baked treats in a wide variety of shapes/designs that again are up to date with the seasons.
Overall a great shop to spoil your pet at as well as pick up some of the necessities.
4 stars only because I wish they would stock more of a variety of chew bones. Going weekly my dog has worked his way through the pig ears and sticks. New options for regular customers would be appreciated!

Timmies is the best doggie store hands down!
Both locations always carry the best of everything for my dogs: treats, food, toys, sweaters, beds, carriers — you name it. If they didn’t have something in stock, Paul or Georges have ordered in items for me.
The grooming is always top notch. My girls (two teacup Yorkies) have been to both locations and gotten a variety of cuts. They always come out looking perfect. Because they’re little and quite anxious, the staff knows to be extra gentle with them and they are!

We take our dog to the groomers and the result is always fantastic. Easy to get an appointment, the service is first rate and really reasonable prices. If you live downtown, definitely give them a try!

This place was great!!! I have five dogs that I wanted to photograph and they managed to do a really good job! It is tough considering two of the dogs only have three legs and the other three are blind. They are all rescued dogs in their teen years. They usually look pretty mangy, but this place did an awesome job making them look presentable. They went in looking like Benji and came out looking like Lassie. I would definitely recommend them!

a bit small for a place you’re planning on having santa photos for dogs taken, especially when one of your dogs is blind and a tad bit confrontational, but alas! it worked out heavenly. this place, in my juggling of four dogs (with help, mind you) i got to take a peak around the shop to see what kind of product they carry and was pleasantly surprised. i’ve never been in before last weekend, but have passed by too many times. super jazzed to see them carrying peachy keen pets, my dogs’ favourite collars. so they’re automatically added to my a+ list!
really adore their santa photos as well, it’s all donation based and you get to vote on which rescue you’d like your donations to go to (go pugalug!!). plus the photos look amazing to boot!
can’t wait until next year. this might have to become a yearly thing :)

If you have a Papillon do NOT groom it here. I have a papillon who’s black has faded to a beautiful brown giving him nice layers of different colors.
We told them NOT to cut any colored fur and only to cut the white fur on his belly (because it’s unsanitary when he pees) which they did not do.
I pick him up and the fringe around his ears are gone! They cut almost all the black around his face which will take up to a year to grow back, obviously not listening to the instructions I gave. I had a word with the groomer and she tells me it’s NORMAL to cut their fringe!!!
What world does she live on?
You would think they would know a thing or two about how different breeds coats are supposed to look and that a papillon means butterfly in French! They are MEANT to have fringe around their ears because they look like butterflies!
AWFUL experience. They are scissor happy, inexperienced groomers who have no idea what they are doing and do not listen to instructions!

Oh Timmie, we reunite! I used to take my dog here when she was a pup. Then we moved across the country and back, and have returned to Timmie Doggie Outfitters. I’ve always had such a great experience here and the owner is super friendly. I bought an adorable striped sweater that has lasted for years, leather collars and other goods, and have always been happy with the quality and cute compliments from strangers.
The only downside is that my dog gets freaked out being carried downstairs for her nail trim, but she quickly forgets her fear when she comes back upstairs looking sharp (no pun intended) and is treated to a mustache-shaped cookie.

It’s not often that I am looking for a birthday present for a pug, but, you know, it happens. A quick Unilocal search for «gift» and «dog» led me to Timmie Doggie Outfitters just across from Trinity Bellwoods Park. It’s a colourful spot, absolutely littered (eh?) with dog-related goodies. I had come to the right place.
Though I am not a dog owner myself, I have to say the selection was impressive. There were items for dogs and cats alike. Doghousewares, pet couture, beauty supplies and house-made treats. I scooped out a selection of moustache-shaped beef treats topped with yogurt and carob. I can’t believe I know these details.
Anyway, seems like a great spot for a fancy gift for your beloved pet. I think the prices here are a bit out of line for everyday shopping, but you will certainly find something for that special somedoggy in your life.

Worst dog grooming experience of my life! I’ve had dogs for over 15 years so this is quite a title to be earned. I have two dogs, a puppy and an older guy. After she didn’t finish the old dog’s nails (I even expressed unhappiness when picking the dogs up but she didn’t fix it… but did offer a $ 5 discount) I ended up having to take my puppy to the vet because she cut him and it got infected (which is the first time I’ve ever had to take my dog to the vet because of a grooming experience). Needless to say, after getting their nails fixed elsewhere and the vet vet bill cleared, it was by far the most expensive grooming I’ve ever experienced! Don’t go there.

Timmie Doggie Outfitters for sure is an great stores to buy some doggie outfits for your beloved ones!
The selections here are great as I have not yet seen another other pet supplies stores have such huge selections in clothings!
Of course they are not cheap but at least they are quality items.
BTW, they also carries gourmet cookies just like Bark and Fitz.
If you have friends that loves their dog so much… Timmie Doggie Outfitters will be an awesome place to get gifts from! (hint hint hint!)

I just picked up a cute bat outfit here for my pug for Halloween. Lots of cute costumes but all small sizes. My small pug wouldn’t fit into most of them. I encouraged the owner to think ‘big’ for next year!

Wonderful Doggie Clothing and Grooming location at Bellwoods Park and Queen Street. Superb Selection of Doggie care items.
The staff was delightful, pleasant and suggestive of alternative clothing choices for our new Toy Yorkie, Lexi the Wonderdog. Apart from future value coupons the Owners also had a handful of treats to tempt the canine customers. Wonderful Sunday afternoon Living in Toronto.

This is THE place to go for spending a ridiculous amount of money to outfit your dog. Coach collars, designer duds and gourmet grub can all be had here, for a price!
I do come here because they have an excellent selection of quality foods, and are one of the only places in the neighbourhood to purchase Acana food. I did also buy a rather expensive coat here for my tiny, frozen friend this winter, and we received great service and help sizing up my pup. Yes, it was pricey, but it was well worth keeping my little buddy warm and dry.

Sure, there are dog clothes here, but there’s also a ton of other things for your pampered pooch. They carry top quality, premium (e.g. grain-free) food, and have a great selection of leashes, collars, harnesses, treats, and toys. I have short-haired French Bulldogs that don’t require fancy grooming, so I can’t speak for their grooming services, but they have a nice stock of shampoos and conditioners to keep your pet smelling fresh n’ clean if you bathe your dogs at home.
Prices are a little high — a large bag of my dogs’ preferred kibble, Acana Pacifica, is about $ 10 more than I’ve typically paid for it, but I’m happy to pay the extra in order to support an independent pet shop.

Timmies on Queen EAST in Leslieville
It’s a great place to have your dog groomed and pampered. They do a really good job at a reasonable price, and are always very courteous and friendly. They have a huge array of products and a lot of them are even eco-friendly and locally sourced.
I have 2 small dogs, and as much as I am not a fan of dressing them up like Barbie Dolls, I recognize the need for warmth for their little bodies, and Timmie’s has a great selection of outerwear for your pooch.
