Had a Groupon so I checked it out. I have driven by all the time and never noticed it. I got the 3 grilled cheese sandwiches and soup to go. Sandwiches are small(on baugettes) they cook on a panini press. I got the cheddar. nice Bacon on one. Horseradish mayo dip butternut squash soup Staff friendly décor nice I’d go back They close around 3 pm than open as a bar at 6? But no food seems like a good spot to go for a drink I read there is a patio but didn’t look

I am giving this new restaurant 3 stars, not because the menu was great, not because Toopy and Beeno was playing loudly on the TWO televisions when we walked in. I am giving it 3 stars because I think they are trying to do something that might just be great for the right diners. This is a perfect spot for new moms, or moms with toddlers or moms wanting to get a little poetry written after their kindergartener is picked up. I am a fan of soup and grilled cheese, so it worked for me. It didn’t work for my friends. My Mum wanted a salad and my father-in-law wanted burger. I should have looked at the menu to truly appreciate its limits before I bought the Groupon. If you’re not a fan of kids in restaurants, and I am not sure the owner appreciates how many people are not, you might want to stay away. Give the owner about a year to work out the kinks. It needs to look more like a restaurant than a daycare. But that being said, when my kids were little, I would have loved to have a place like this in my hood. Recommend she find a spot close to the Junction or Roncesvalles.
