Owner is very helpful, and sells you what you need. Fast repairs too. He even made a minor customization to a new machine that improved it’s functionality. The man knows vacuums.

We have relied on Vacuum Check for anything vacuum-​related for years! Max, the owner, is always there, always pleasant, and always knowledgable. We have recommended this place to a number of people who have also had a good experience. We’ve purchased a new vacuum, had our house vac repaired, and purchased a number of accessories for both. We’re lucky to have Max and his business in our neighbourhood.

I bought vacuum here about 2 years ago and am still loving it! The owner, a polite and pleasant man, helped to pick out a proper vacuum for my situation. I explained I had pets who shed a lot and he directed in me in which vacuum would best suit my needs. Not only did he throw in a free floor attachment, he encouraged me to come in if I had any issues or concerns. When I noticed an odour coming from my vacuum, I went back to ask about this problem. He gave me a sample of something I could use, and also a few spare bags. I can’t express how wonderful he has been and I feel as though I have bought a product that will last for quite some time

1 star is too much for this place. I had to go there twice in a week and both times the man that works there was unbelievable rude. I don’t drive and this central vac place is somewhat close to my house, however, never again. I will make the long subway ride up to another store at Shep/​Yonge as this gentleman’s rudeness and lack of customer service is too much to tolerate.

Great service, friendly and very knowledgeable store owner. I always come back here for bags and sprays for my place. I bought my Miele vacuum here about a year ago, cleans carpets and hardwood extremely well, worth every penny, couldn’t be happier!

I bought a vacuum here in 2005. Max, the owner, is passionate about vacuums and he was so nice (he loves dogs) that I visit him even when I don’t need any bags. By the way, he recommended a Miele for me, though he carries other brands including the coveted Dyson, and he has all the patience in the world for service, cleaning, filtering, and deodorizing, etc… sometimes my vacuum air smells like poop, because I actually vacuum up little dried poop nuggets, it turns out there is a spray for that. Who knew? Max does, he knows suction.
