No, you have me mistaken — the person you are thinking of below isn’t me. I didn’t buy a Royal Hunter, nor did I come back to make a return. As said in the review, you guys are quite a distance from me.
Nothing was left out of this review regarding the overall experience. New details after your reply, though: I believe you were even present to witness it, now that I remember. So as management, you did have every chance for customer recovery but didn’t do anything.
Everyone sells clones and I’m not opposed to them. But when a store specifically claims their stock is AUTHENTIC when it’s actually not, and just saying ‘yes’ to a knowledgeable vaper’s validation checks, that is misleading.
I’m sorry you think this review is just out to ‘bash’ your establishment. To be honest, this review wouldn’t have been written if I hadn’t heard further bad experiences from other vapers when talking shops. Their experiences, they’ll have to add here if they choose to do so.
While others may have had good experiences here, I feel that something like this should also be noted. Thanks.
Summary: Misleading Sales Rep
With the situation surrounding vaping at time of this review, I’m hesitant to put a poor write-​up for a vape place, but after hearing a few fellow vapers also had a bad experience here, I felt I had to pass this along. BUYER BEWARE: you might get the WRONG INFORMATION about their products.
A lot of the high-​star reviews of this shop are from first-​time vapers — but again, for the information you’re getting, buyer beware!

Basically, for gear, Vapor Lyfe sold a clone product at authentic price, CLAIMED it was authentic over the phone, seemed to KNOW it was a clone, and let a new customer (whom they were told lived 1 hour away) drive to visit the store only to find out the above.

For those looking for other recommendations, in the Toronto Area I’d recommend ecig flavorium or Vape 29 — they have just as much (better) selection of juices, differentiate their authentic vs. clone products appropriately, and are more than willing to help vapers at all levels, new and experienced.

Called this place looking for a particular piece of gear — an RDA to buy as a gift for a friend. Specifically, I was looking for an authentic (not a clone). After calling several stores within my area, who advised they have clones but not authentics, I branched out to shops that were as far as 1 hour driving distance away.
Vapor Lyfe was one of these stores. They claimed to have an authentic in stock. To make sure, I asked qualifying questions that they gave the right answers to. Happy, I told them how far I’d be driving out to get it, and the situation, thanking them for their help.
After making the drive, I was pretty disappointed to find that the RDA was actually a clone, and they were giving the wrong information over the phone! What’s worse, they were charging the authentic price for it!
I pointed out that the item was a clone, in case they weren’t aware. Maybe they misunderstood over the phone. But the sales person helping me (I won’t disclose the name, but at least it wasn’t the owner) — the same person that was on the phone — seemed to know what he was talking about when he said «Right, because it doesn’t have the authenticity verification code on the back.»
The only saving grace that resulted in a purchase was that they had it in a particular color my friend wanted. Hesitantly, because the color was difficult to find locally, I purchased the clone just to have as a ‘backup’ gift (in case an online order for the authentic wouldn’t arrive in time). In hindsight, I regret doing that, encouraging this was ‘okay’, but wanted to have something for my friend.
(*In the vape world, clones end up being comparable in build quality to authentics. Vapers will buy authentics — at the higher prices — even after getting the clones if they like the device & want to support the original makers. Or for the sake of just having the authentic).
«Anything you can do since the item isn’t authentic?» I asked, also given the drive. «Mmm… no, I can’t.» Felt like he knew it was a clone, but still said it was an authentic just to make a sale.
I wasn’t pleased with the misleading experience. Especially since the clone has since been made available for $ 12 cheaper in my area vs what they were offering.
The guys at the shop weren’t even apologetic about the mistake. Given that no one walked in for the 20 mins I was there, again it felt like they were just hoping to make a sale at the time of day I visited.
Bad first impression from this shop. At best, the guys have a friendly demeanor, even when being caught at presenting wrong information. Check out my other reviews to find stores where the staff is just as friendly, the stock is quality, and aren’t misleading.

Awesome place. Tommy is very helpful. Anything you need, he will help you with it. And they have great juices and hardware selection. I got to try a lot of their juices as well as their sub ohm mods. I went to other shops, and they all seem to have just the skinny clearimizers which does not draw as good as the sub ohm. If you are new to vaping, this is a great place to go to.

Honestly, this doesn’t even deserve 1 star.
I recently bought 3 bottles of their house juice. They told me it was ⁷⁰⁄₃₀ Vg/​Pg ratio, and I asked for 3mg.
First, All flavours sucked. Juice is runny, and vapour production isn’t good which leads me to believe it is ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ ratio. I asked for 3mg specifically but I get unbelievably uncomfortable throat hits… Terrible. Definitely not 3mg, possibly 6mg or higher. Flavours were also not as described.
Shitty products aside, customer service was also terrible. The girl was nice, but the other guy was rude. I said good morning and he didn’t even look at me or acknowledge my presence. I felt generally uncomfortable in this shop. The only reason why I bought the juices anyway was because I was out of juice, and the description sounded good. No dripping samples either.
Will not be returning to this shop, and I encourage everybody to find somewhere else to shop for vape products. Seriously, terrible environment. Very unwelcoming.

I was very pleased with the eliquid selection. The staff was very friendly and they new What they were talking about. The hardware seemed a bit pricey but the juice was fair. I would definitely go back for more juice.

So I walked in here for the first time being a new vaper during their soft open for some juice and was so happy with the service that I decided to come back. When I came in for the second time they had so many more juice flavors and brands that I had a hard time deciding on what to vape but they were patient to my indecisiveness and helped me pick one of my now all time favorites since then they have been my go to vape shop. They’ve done more than what I would ever expect out of a vape shop from helping me cut my nicotine level in my old juice down when it was too strong to teaching me all the ins and outs of building and helping me step my vaping game up when I came into the store I was using a istick 20watt since then I moved on from mech mods to box mods and they have been there to help me every step of the way. I’m glad to see such a great vape shop close to my house grow so quickly I can’t wait to see this place grow even more and become the go to shop for all vapers new to advanced. Ah, This place is great! Lost my vape virginity here. The owner helped me out and showed me everything. He clearly knew what he was doing. I highly suggest coming here. They have a guinea pig. Too legit. It’s a good place to stop by and smoke for a bit, you know? I bought some awesome flavours; Scooby snacks, yummy gummy bear and white sweet nuts. Yeah just go and check it out.

Went in to the store with my girlfriend and dog (dog friendly place btw which is a plus for us!). The guys there were super friendly and welcoming, not to mention really knowledgeable about vaping and the hardware that goes with it. We spent a lot of time just chilling and chatting with everyone, as well as trying a LOT of their product.
I’m so stoked about a vape lounge/​store located in East York and this is definitely going to be our go-​to for our vaping needs.

I had an amazing time for my first visit at Vapor Lyfe. The staff/​owners know exactly what they are talking about, and are very friendly. Would recommend to anyone wanting start vaping, or whoever is a veteran.
