We have been coming to this nail place for about 10 months now. There were often challenges booking appointments in advance and lately there has been a lot of staff turnover.
But we really liked the results, so we «suffered» through it. I called yesterday to make an appointment for 3 people (mani and pedi each) and were told to be there at 11. One of us could not make it and I called at 10:15 to let them know it would be just two of us. When we got there at 10:55, there were only two manicurists (not three) and both were busy. One of them had obviously just started a manicure. We were told to come back later. When we asked when, she said 12 o’clock. We had an appointment for 11. We drove 20 minutes to get there and certainly did not want to wait an hour.
We left and will never be back. Because of their shortsightedness and greed they lost our business and any referrals we might have given them.

It was my first visit to this nail salon. After reading all these amazing Unilocal reviews I had high expectations. I asked for UV gel with shellac on top. I choose black with sparkles (halloween) I received black but it lacked sparkles.
I have never had worse nails in my life. There are air bubbles on every nail, it almost looks as if the shelac will just peel right off. Extremely dull, streaks on some nails and she didn’t even but a top coat on! I’ve had them for 2 days and it looks like I’ve had them on for weeks! Didn’t even bother going back to complain/​get them fixed. Will never go back! I will be taking my business else where.

I am MORE than thrilled with my acrylic nail set. I’ve been to countless nail salons and I can honestly say this is the first time I’ve walked away feeling 100% satisfied with the craftsmanship. I told the technician exactly what I wanted and she delivered. I’ve never had a tech check each nail’s length and thickness with the others. I HIGHLY recommend this place! Plus their prices are cheap!!! In LOVE!

Fantastic. Do a great job! Frequent customer program as well. All ladies are very skilled. So you never need to wait for someone specific.

First nail salon I’ve found with a loyalty program = AWESOME! You get $ 10 off after 8 visits! YAY! I redeemed my first full card a couple weeks ago! :)
The ladies are all SUPER nice and friendly. They always have a wide variety of current magazines on hand, and GREAT, high quality selection of nail polish (a smaller section of retail nail polish too).
THE BEST = The massage chairs for pedicures!!! THEY ARE INCREDIBLE!!! You can select the area of the body (or combination of areas) and also customize the height and width of the massage area (great for different body types)! AWESOME!
There are also muticouloured Disco-​like club lights underwater in the pedicure tubs. QUADRUPLE AWESOME!!!
Tip #1: To avoid chills in the winter or heat in the summer, sit as far away from the door as you can!
Tip #2: The handmade ornaments and funky handmade items you see on display are made by the girls during lulls in the day — you can buy one or get them to make you a custom design/​colour scheme! COOL!
Tip #3: People are REALLY BAD DRIVERS in this parking lot! Be extra alert!
