This Winners located at Front and Church is probably one of my least favourite locations because it’s like a myriad maze going between the racks especially at the centre of the store. Even with the change in layout over the years, I find it quite difficult to navigate as there’s not much room since the racks looks like it’s all crammed in. Even the footwear department shelves has limited space and watch out when you turn the corner as you may bump into someone. The only area I found spacious is the beauty department near the entrance because it’s located in its own enclosed section. I usually find myself walking in and out rather quickly once I’m able to navigate pass the centre where the ramps are located. I cannot comment on the staff because I hardly have any chance to buy anything in my mad rush to get out.

This is one of my favourite Winners in town(aside from the mega one on Queen West). The only bad thing is that it’s too close to where I work, so as a result my bills are yay high. For the most part, the racks are pretty organized and it’s quite manageable and easy to navigate(unlike some other Winners’ where you feel like you’ve entered a battlefield and things are all over the place). They have some pretty high end stuff here(which doesn’t always mean you’ll get a bargain) and things disappear fast! They have a good selection of housewares, and audio/cell phone accessories and there are always tempting snacks awaiting by the checkout counter(my favourite is OOGIE’S popcorn which is only available in the USA).

i am one of those unlucky few who never finds anything at Winners. I am impatient to search for the finds and it just never works for me. I had dinner reservations in the area and some time to kill so i strolled through this winners and i have to say i was quite impressed. It was organized and easy to browse through and had some great finds. I think this is my new favourite winners!

This location is very small. My biggest complaint is the complete disarray in the shoe section. They seriously need to invest in an extra staff member to keep that area organized.

This location is probably one of the smaller Winners stores I’ve been in. Its got a good location and is pretty clean and has less of the warehouse vibe that you can feel at some location, but honestly the place carries much less menswear than other downtown locations and I’ve only ever found a couple things worth buying over numerous visits, so unless Im literally on Front St I don’t even bother stopping in. They also seem lower staffed so the lineup to check out can be slow moving, so yeah, I’ve definitely experienced better.

Scored some great deals today. Just goes to show, shopping at Winners is like a box of choc-lets, you never know what you’re gonna get… or something like that. What I mean is, if you don’t like the selection one day, try again a couple days later and you may be pleasantly surprised.

Winners drives me nuts. The disarray of crammed clothing, the narrow aisles with a plethora of carts road blocking them, and the terrible florescent lighting make me sick to my stomach. Yet somehow, I go there. When a new Winners opens, I make the pilgrimage to behold it. Almost always I am disappointed, that is until I stopped by the Front St. Winners. This is by far my favourite because it is so much more civilized than any other and I always manage to find something good. It isn’t the largest Winners, and it doesn’t have the best selection, but I feel relaxed shopping here. The change rooms are particularly decent. Their home section is improving. Finally they sell underwear and bras too. Can it get any better?

This is probably my preferred Winners location in the downtown core. It’s not as big as the College Park or Bloor St. ones, but more manageable and way less crowded. Lots of great finds here if you take the time to sift through the rejects. On my last visit I spotted: Badgley Mischka pumps, Soia & Kyo winter coats, BCBG cashmere sweaters, Elie Tahari work wear, Calvin Klein lingerie, and Hello Kitty iphone cases(guess what *I* got?). This location has a larger cosmetics/fragrance section than most. Personally, I’m not a big fan of Winners’ cosmetics… I find people have always taken stuff out of the boxes and tried the products etc. They did have some Stila and Calvin Klein beauty stuff. I’m a bit sketched out about perfumes, skin creams, etc. because of expiry dates. But if you are looking for blow dryers, straightening irons, tweezers, brushes, etc. it is worth checking this Winners out because the prices are really low. Change rooms — there are lots and you seldom have to wait. Cashier — expect to wait.

One of the better winners(es) I have been to! — less busy, and fitting is not so crazy packed like the one on Yonge Street. It’s actually very quiet and its unisex fitting room. LMAO. its kinda funny. I guess its just not that busy, the store utilize resource. –has good selections of things. I did not go through all the aisle of things, only grabbed like 1 dressy beige top that’s hanging at front and was the first thing I saw when I walked in. It’s one of simple around neck tank shirt, but with huge ruffle that comes from one side of shoulder and goes to my chest. It’s like one of those BCBG dress sirts, and with hidden ziper at middle back. Its’ contemporary but not overly done, sexy but classy. I scored it for $ 35! It could easily be $ 80 – 100 for this kind of quality tops at department store. They do carry more selective stylish stuff than some winners towards generic target. They have more stylish brand named sunglasses I realize. And they carry good collection of shoes. –Maybe not huge selections on men’s clothing. We didn’t go thru aisles for men’s stuff either. Just couple of things were hanging at front racks. I laid my eyes on very light, pale purple DKNY dress shirt and a preppy RUDSAK wind blocker in white for my friend since he hadent been to Winners for ages and I tried to help him to get some spring stuff. Unfortunately they both sold out on his size. My friend just thinks I have eye for nice things, so I took as compliment n not blame on Winners not carry enough stock for sizes. =D Over all, I like that Winners a lot! It’s one of the nicer winners out there. And I like how their front door and wall deco, very European and romantic. Go treasure hunting today!

Winners is terrific if you don’t know the glory that is Loehmann’s. On my last visit I found nothing on the racks worthy of entering the dressing room to try on.

Winner’s is a great place to go if you have enough time to go through racks of clothes and really hunt for a steal of a deal. This Winner’s especially has some really great clothes — Earl Sewn Jeans, Ralph Lauren Boots, Jones New York Sweaters, I could go on. The thing about Winner’s is that you can’t really run in and grab something and go. Things are organized by size, not designer, so you’ll have to sort though the racks to find your size. Also, as is common with designer label discount stores, you’ll have to sort through a ton of ugly crap. But on a rainy saturday, there’s nothing better than spending the afternoon getting yourself a cheap wardrobe. And Winner’s is the best place in the city to do it.
