We specialize in African Safaris, Cultural Tours, Small Ship Travel and Hiking adventures. We have travelled to all seven continents and have guided people in some of the most remote locations of the world. Let our experience guide you to your best travel adventure of your life.

History

Established in 2009.

Your Journey was started by two veterans of the travel business. Karl Kannstadter and Anna MacKay have over 50 years combined travel experience. As of 2012 Anna MacKay is the soul owner. Anna has worked for several adventure travel companies, Adventures Abroad, Connections Travel/​Anza and Operations Manager at ElderTreks.

Anna has been a tour leader to remote locations like Mongolia, South Africa, Tunisia, Egypt, Tanzania, Vietnam and Turkey just to name a few.

I have travelled in luxury in some of the best game lodges in Africa, have roughed it camping in tents along the Niger River, relaxed in Zanzibar and have conquered Kilimanjaro twice and along the Inca Trail.

Business Owner

Anna started out in British Columbia, in corporate and vacation travel, moved on to Adventure travel in the 90’s. Meeting her future husband well travelling in Zimbabwe was the reason for her move to Toronto.

I am very passionate about everything travel. I am most happy when planning a good juicy trip or even better taking our clients on an amazing journey, in the far reaches of the globe.
