Where most talent buying agencies will negotiate a deal and send an invoice, we do so much more. For the same industry standard rate as our competitors, our talent buying services include offer and contract negotiations, immigration, on-​site talent logistics, backstage management and hospitality advancing, and we always have a representative from 542 on site to manage our services. We are also available to help in other areas of the event and even supply a turn-​key service should you need our support. We can handle every aspect of event management from branding, ticketing and logistics, marketing and PR, to staffing contractors and hospitality. Our dream it, we can build it.

History

Established in 2013.

542 Entertainment has been nominated as the top talent buyer/​promoter in the country for the 2015 CCMA’s. Booking fairs and festivals in BC, Alberta, and all the way to Newfoundland. 542 Entertainment is incorporated in both Canada and the US.

Meet the Business Owner

Billie Jo A.

Business Owner

Billie Jo Aasen is the president of 542 Entertainment and has over 10 years of experience producing live music events. In the early stages of her career, Aasen worked with the infamous Merritt Mountain Music Festival learning all aspects of live outdoor events from talent to logistics. In 2010, Aasen joined Rogers Arena and worked with over 50 tours including artists such as Jay-​Z, Kanye West, Keith Urban, Madonna, The Foo Fighters, and many more. In the fall of 2011 Aasen launched her first Music Festival, 542 Music Festival. And in the summer of 2013 542 Entertainment turned into a full service boutique talent buying, festival and events production company.
