8 years of straight up honest, reliable and professional service. These are men of great knowledge and integrity and they will fix what needs fixing, fast and for a fair price. If it’s not broke… they don’t need to fix it. I trust them implicitly. Who can say that about their mechanic?

These guys do good work at fair prices. They are dead straight. I once took my SUV in with the engine light on. They could have told me anything. When I returned they said it was due to a loose hose and didn’t charge me. They are the only shop I’ll go to.

Amin is awesome! After coming in twice in the past year with car questions (both of which were resolved fast and no charge!), we went in needing our power steering pump to be changed. The service only took 2 hours, and was much cheaper than what we had seen elsewhere. Our car is running like new! Don’t bother going anywhere else — Amin is your guy!

My car started off in already elderly condition and I was weary of how much it’d cost to fix when it started smoking. But after seeing reviews I brought it in to Amin’s. They took a look before doing any work and let me have time to think over if I wanted spend the cost of repair since it’s an old car. I trusted Amin & son completely and it cost pretty much what they estimated. No bells and whistles at the shop that you end up paying for! My next oil change, tune up… anything to do with my car will be going to Amin!

It’s the only place I go, they’re excellent, honest, knowledgeable, fast, affordable. A definite older world vibe; old Vancouver. Enjoy them while they’re there, before they turn into another condo building.

If you want to never pay for unnecessary service, if you want an honest, reasonably priced mechanic, this is the place! I have an old Subaru and he does what is needed and within reason for its age. I feel so fortunate to have been told about Amin.

Wow… I’ve heard about this repair shop from some friends and haven’t needed help with my car until today. My engine light came on and I called to ask if they could look at my car today. The guy said sure bring it down and he’d have a look. Well .he hooked up his diagnostic machine and told me in 2 minutes what the problem was. My gas cap wasn’t completely closed. No charge! .love it! I have found a place I can take my car and not feel ripped off! As a woman I always feel unfairly disadvantaged and overcharged … this feels like a safe haven!

I took my car to Amin’s for service for the first time last week… didn’t know what I needed to get done but it was at about 100,000 km so I asked them to check it over and do whatever work it needed. Turns out it didn’t need much, they told me how much was left on my brakes and when to come back to get that done, so I don’t feel like I was overcharged. They also fixed an issue with my power locks. He ordered the part from Hyundai but it turned out they were after-​market power locks so the part was unusable. He actually ended up rebuilding the motor that had failed and got the locks working again. I don’t think many other places would do that.
Overall, fast service, reasonable prices, and they seem like an honestly run business. Oh, and they waited 15 minutes for me after closing because I wasn’t able to pick up my car by their 5pm closing time.

Have taken various cars to Amin over the last 5 years. always a reasonable cost, honest assessment and using high quality made in Japan. No BS, no hidden fees, and never had trouble with any of their repairs. As good as a local mechanic gets.

I’ve got only good things to say about Amin’s Auto Service. They’ve been honest and efficient, can’t ask for a better mechanic.

I have been taking my Honda to Amin’s Auto Service for at least 5 years now. I love the friendly service this family owned and opperated business offers. Amin always gives my car great service for the best prices in town and I would highly recommend them to anyone as they are fast, affordable, reliable, and trust worthy… in the past I had taken my older model Honda to other garages who failed to fix problems that Amin corrected for me for much less than what the leading competitors charged me! Amin is the best! I have an older car and he has always given me great rates on repairs, never tries to upsell, and has even come to my house to jump my car on a few occasions. He knows I am a student and always asks about my studies when I am there. I appreciate that he remembers me, and understands that as a student, I can’t afford to spend a lot on my car. I almost always get my car back in the same day, the one exception when I had to replace the exhaust system, which was a big job. I highly recommend taking your car to Amin’s!

Amin’s was courteous, fast and reasonably priced. The only thing holding back a five star review was that the vehicle smelled of cigarettes when it was returned to me.

This garage is excellent. They get the job done and don’t charge an arm and a leg. They do the repairs at the lowest cost without any upselling. I have brought my car in 3 times and will have to go pay them a visit tomorrow but I know the service will be great and my wallet won’t be empty when I leave.

Amin is incredible — helpful, honest, friendly, and accommodating. Every time I’ve brought my car in he’s had time for me (or something within the next couple days). He never tries to «upsell» me to fix everything at the most expensive prices. Very affordable and just a great business owner.
