History

Established in 2000.

The history of Arbutus Sundecks is a history of attention to quality and detail in the deck repair and deck installation industry.

All of our employees are fully trained through our QC program. Our carpenters are either ticketed or being apprenticed for larger scale projects, and we always have a ticketed carpenter overseeing the project on site. Our vinyl decking installers have completed a qualification program with all the credentials that are required. For our railing and construction jobs, we use Canstruct Engineering to ensure that the BC Building Code Requirements are not just met, but exceeded. If permits and engineering schedules are required, we are happy to supply those to our customers.

Business Owner

Mark Harrison has been involved in the construction industry since he was 15 years old and is a well respected member of his industry and community. He is a ticketed carpenter who has worked extensively in building remediation area with structural engineers on numerous projects. With over 27 years of experience, he brings a vast knowledge of construction and waterproofing solutions to every project. Mark is an easy going and hard working man, with his personal motto being «Treat this house as if I owned it.»
