Decided to give this place a try Ordered the smoked salmon croissant. They asked if I wanted it heated. seriously? Smoked salmon and cream cheese don’t heat well. Anyway, it was basically just that. smoked salmon and cream cheese. nothing special I wasn’t impressed, and won’t be back

Very tasty, got a pistachio danish and double peanut butter cookie. Both were the right mix of sweet and savory. The danish was very crispy. Really enjoyed my experience. Prices seemed a bit steep ask things considered but still it was tasty so I don’t mind paying a bit more.

Went twice for breakfast and once for dessert — everything we had was tasty! Nice place to just enjoy the morning atmosphere.

Hands down the best croissants in town, and add an americano for just over $ 5 that’s an awesome deal!

Brought the wrong drinks to our table, which is fine but then when the correct drinks were finally ready we were told we had to come to the counter to pick them up, despite an almost empty shop and 3 unoccupied serving staff Ok not necessarily a huge thing). Then tried the Milles Feuilles Napoleon. Was the WORST version of this dessert I have ever had. Tasted like it had been left out for over a week. Dry, to the point where I thought I was chewing on plastic. Tasteless and generally just awful. Asked for my money back after taking less than one bite and spitting it out. Was refused The Peanut Butter Cookie Sandwich was so soggy it literally fell apart into a pile of crumbs on the plate of my partner. Will not be back.

The food was fine and the establishment was nice but the service was unbelievably poor. The young woman and guy at the counter were moving at 40% the speed of regular human beings. We ordered a sandwich, croissant, apple juice and coffee. I collected my coffee from the counter. My girlfriend’s sandwich was brought to the table. Several minutes passed by and no sign of my croissant or her juice. My girlfriend went up and had to ask for her juice. They had completely forgotten it, okay no big deal. A few more minutes went by, my girlfriend was half way through her sandwich. I got up, went to the counter to enquire about my croissant. They had completely forgotten that too! I waited for it to be toasted while my girlfriend finished her sandwich. I was then summoned to the counter to collect my forgotten croissant instead of apologising and bringing to my table. All throughout this, there were no pleasantries, no hellos, no chit chat, no smiles and finally no apology for forgetting half our order. It wasn’t even busy! Place was empty almost. Unbelievable. And then no «goodbye, see you again» either. We just walked out in silence. Bizarre experience. Would not recommend this place, very poor customer service.

I got a 6 dollar small slice of cake. I thought it should have been a great piece of cake, but I was mistaken. At least I thought I got a cake, as I opened the deep unescapeable chasm of my mouth to take the first bite, I went to chew but the cake mocked me. Cream only! With a small wafer at the bottom. Here I was thinking I was getting some cake but no, 3 different kinds of chocolate cream stacked on top of each other. Didn’t go well with my tea, I’m still upset.

I love the cheese cake. It’s so creamy and full of jam with the white chocolate shavings — so good. I’ve tried the cinnamon bun and croissants here before as well but go back for the cheese cake. Always friendly and polite service too. Great little spot.

Superfriendly and polite service! Never disappoint each time I went. These little things help brighten your day(even if your day was fantastic already)! I agree that the sandwiches may not be the best quality, but it’s still good. A good grab-n-go lunch spot.

Fairly priced, delicious, and open late with wifi and great staff. It’s hard to find a decent bakery downtown, but this is only subpar compared to a true European bakery. Makes it great for the west end. Their tarts are killer. The service is fast. It’s a great staple to the community.

last night was my wife and I’s third time going in, and until now I had no complaints. My chocolate brioche was a dry dinner bun that just happened to have spots of chocolate. I would pay less than a dollar for this at the stupidstore, rather than the 2.65 I paid here. That said, having been here before, I can recommend you try their mocha(though some will find it too sweet), their cheese cakes, madeleines, muffins, flans… well, just go ahead and order one of everything(but not the brioche). Interesting note: their washroom has a snow shovel– in summer!

We used to live in the West End and frequented this place quite regularly. Always excellent food, good coffee. Could not fault you for that. BUT Your customer service is shocking, no hello when coming in, no farewell when leaving. The manager is a grump, sorry, never seen him smile. Neither the young staff, mostly female, no interaction, nothing. Just having good food is not good enough in my books.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner! Amazing desserts, friendly service… did I mention the amazing desserts? Put Baguette & Co on your short list while on the West End

Awesome employees and great food. Baguette Co is easy to miss on a busy street. From the sidewalk it looks too small to take a group to enjoy a morning coffee. But when it’s not crowded it’s the perfect spot. They serve a fresh Americano that leaps with flavor and wakes you up. I typically hate scones because they’re like baked bricks but the blueberry scone here was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and studded with blueberries. Go there and enjoy hospitable people and coffee done right.

Amazing place to pick up some fresh deserts! Amazing service, too:) I’ve been a few times but today I had the pistachio éclair — delicious! There’s always new treats to try– I definitely want to come back to try their coffee!

Their chocolate croissants are to die for. Wow. They are out of this world. This is a super cute little bakery along Davie Street. The tables are limited and thus, are often occupied by people with their laptops on wifi. Will be back to try everything else though.

I passed by Baguette & Co last time I was in Vancouver. This time round, I thought I’d stop in for lunch-and now I’m in love with the lunch deal. Your choice of a French panini, a coffee and any dessert(big or small!) for $ 10.45. I went for the turkey pesto panini with an americano and an éclair. Not a bad way to spend my lunch hour :). There are little tables to eat at and free wifi available. The back half of the café consisted of people hunkered down on their laptops. I’d stop here again for the lunch special. Definitely value there for what I paid!

This review is for the«Parisien» baguette I had last night. It was just OK. Service, however was great, very friendly staff. They say they are a Paris style bakery and there was nothing Parisien about this bread. Parisien bread will make you orgasm. This made me feel full and indifferent. Price was OK I guess, maybe 5 or 5.50 for a baguette with ham and pickles? No it doesn’t sound very Parisien does it? I’m not a desert person so this seems to be more their thing. Maybe their coffee is good too? I’ll probably pop back in again to try something else but for this particular baguette I was not very impressed.

I think I was unfair to this place. My last two experiences have been 5 star. Today topped it, as it was the first time I’ve been here in the day and not an hour or less before closing. Everything was so fresh and yummy. The flan was to.die.for. Cho pain still has me for the pistachio croissants, but even Baguette and Co. makes a better chocolate almond one.

I was in downtown on an early Saturday morning, and happened to see this store was already open. The store is definitely small, but I was greeted right away and was given an opportunity to sample some bread. I ended up getting some mini-pastries(I think 3 for $ 4), a couple of almond croissants, and a piece of quiche Lorraine. The quiche was pretty good, and the croissant was decent. If I had to compare almond croissants, the ones at Bakery Nouveau in Seattle are a lot better, though.
