I never dread coming here for blood tests. Convenient location across the street from Oakridge mall /​metro station. Don’t be dismayed by the dim basement office in an old rickety building. The staff are friendly and efficient. Just remember to bring your Care Card if you have one! I just show up with the requisition form from my doctor and they take care of everything thereafter, including sending the results to my doctor (it’s all in the shared computer system). You don’t need to make an appointment beforehand (perfect for my disorganized unscheduled life) and there’s never too long of a wait in the office, nor on the phone if you need to double check any instructions prior to testing (e.g. no eating or drinking). A great system with great staff — they really deserve a nicer setting!
