Wow, this update just goes to show how much impact one good manager can have on an establishment. Went back to BCBG to find another great dress for a party and to hopefully relive my previously successful shopping experience with the manager Andrea. This time was not so good, and alas the management had changed. Not only was I not greeted as I walked in and meandered upstairs but I was left alone for most of my shopping experience, which ordinarily I’d be content with but when I did actually approach a store employee the were short and rude. I tried on a few dresses and was actually pretty sold on one but after no help from the attendant who honestly just didn’t want anything to do with her job that day I had a hard time justifying a $ 450 sale to her. I’ve been back twice in the last month to see if perhaps I’d just had an off experience but after repeated attempts it’s safe to say the store vibe has changed and I’ll be going elsewhere for my next dress purchase.

I had mad luck the last time I was in here. I randomly wandered in while I was waiting for my bf and oogled over the cute dresses they had by the front.
I had been looking for a pair of peep toe black booties that cut off by the ankles for a while. and to my surprise they had a pair, that was on sale, last size 7 and it was tasteful looking.
I tried it, fell in love and wandered upstairs to see if there were any dresses that I may have liked. I had no luck, but I love the giant leather box they use to display their jewellery. I wish they sold it or their merchandiser knew where they bought it and could a hold of one for me.
Staff have been alright, not overly pushy, which I quite appreciate.

So I used to think this was a great, fairly high-​end brand. Then I bought a suit and had it dry cleaned as per the instructions, only to have it returned ruined. All the elastic in the fabric had buckled through the surface of the garment… making it look almost like it was covered in dandruff! I took it back to the dry cleaner to complain and she said it was an issue with the fabric — a second dry clearner substantiated this.
Long story short, I took it to the Robson location with my complaint to the store manager. She was less than helpful and pawned me with some customer service line to call. Where I got the run around.
With so much choice out there, I really wonder why I would continue to buy at BCBG. It’s not cheap, but the quality and the service seems to be deeply flawed!
I had a problem once with a swim suit bleeding colour from Quiksilver, which I bought in the States. I took it into the Van location, they changed it no problem and were apologetic for the quality issue. Now that’s service and I will buy there again!

Great selection and service. Even though the place is always busy, I always get greeted and helped. Fab selection of beautiful high quality clothing. If you need nice pieces with a European flair for pretty much any occasion, this is definitely the place to go!
Exchange policy sucks but they do have price match.

Recently I had a wonderful experience at this location. I was shopping for a fifties style cocktail dress for my birthday. I didn’t have much luck at other stores and sales ladies weren’t very helpful. The moment I walked in, someone greeted me and asked if I needed any help. I told them what I wanted to buy and directed my upstairs. Once upstairs, a sales lady named Mehghan immediately approached me and offered suggestions after I told her what I was looking for. Soon after she setted a changing room for me and brought out a pair of high heels for me to use. I like efficiency and thoughtfulness. She really tried her best to get dresses in my sizes and offered opinions while helping other customers. She wasn’t pushy at all. At the end, I chose a black cocktail dress with a puffy bottom.
A few days later, I got a little card from her thanking me for shopping at the store. She remembered what I bought and I. Very good!
Next time I need a dress, I’ll definitely go there first!
