Seriously, once you try this stuff, you’ll never go back to store-bought jerky. I love the spicy pork but the regular pork has great flavour as well and the beef is great too. Not only can you get it in store, you can order online and they ship!

It moved from its Chinatown location! So if anyone says they used the have the best beef jerky in Chinatown, it is this location! Pretty visible store at a major intersection. Small clean place. Staff are nice and helpful! I saw them pack bags and bags of jerky for customers so knew it had to be a great place. Both beef and pork is great but I personally prefer the beef better! This is by far the best jerky I have ever tasted, Singaporean style. Its tender ANDPACKED with flavour. Fresh off the grill, cooled and vacuum packed right away with no preservatives. Staff said it needs to be consumed within 7 days even if it is not opened. After seven days, put it in the fridge. They are a bit on the pricey side but are great souvenirs to bring to wherever. I can see that they would he an expensive addiction!

Oh my GOODNESS!!! Yes, it really is candy meat… So so yummy!!! We bought 2lbs spicy pork and 2lbs spicy beef before returning to Washington. We had to force our self from not eating this or else we would’ve devoured all of it before making it back to Washington.

This jerky from this place is addictive. If you like your jerky, this is the place to get it. It goes very well with beer in hand. I’ve had the spicy pork jerky. It’s grilled right in house in front of you and then packaged with their sealing machine. It’s great jerky, but the price is on the higher side. $ 12/half a pound. However, having said that, jerky is pricey wherever you buy it.

By far the best jerky I’ve ever eaten. If you’ve never been here, I would recommend keeping it that way. You’ll end up with an expensive addiction. I’ve only ever eaten the beef varieties and here’s what I’ve learned. Original is the best, Spicy is equally as good, but the Curry flavour is a bad choice vs. the others.

Great customer services. This shop is small but mighty. We all know the jerky is excellent here. Need no introduction. The customer services is beyond my expectation. We asked for packages of ends and bits. No luck; they were all reserved by other customers. I explained that I asked only because I had a hard time eating the regular size jerky pieces. I always pulled the jerky out, cut them into smaller pieces, and returned them to bag for consumption over a few days. I was okay to buy 2 packages of regular size jerky and do the work at home. The lady, to my pleasant surprise and without me asking, cut the jerky into smaller pieces before she vacuum sealed the bags. This made it more convenient for me. I could not thank her enough. I left with a smile spreading from cheek to cheek.

If I feel like some jerky indulgence, this is the place to stuff my face full of jerky. I enjoy the fact that the place is clean and despite the staff BBQ’ing up a smokey storm behind the corner, I’m not suffocated in the smoke or leave smelling like a chimney. I always go for the pork because it’s consistently soft, tender and packed with sweet, grilled BBQ flavour. The jerky is a perfectly thick sheet of meat that you can hold and bite off of or peel away bites. The sweet, stickiness it leaves on your fingers is the final taste of satisfaction every time I eat it. If you can handle spicy, get the spicy pork! One of the best around from what I heard. Also, the more notes you take, the more the heat and spice build up — so watch out, it’ll kick you in the tastebuds with its spice if you indulge too quick! Once you decided on your order, they go to the back to put your jerky into vacuumed sealable bags that they seal right in front of you — talk about fresh! When I take this stuff home, it always disappears within a few hours, but if you don’t consume it all it one day(you have the willpower of steal!) then stick it in your fridge to keep it some going bad because they don’t use preservatives that other places use to keep the meat longer. Overall, a delicious and fresh place to buy some award-winning jerky. Also, go all the way and order that full pound, you won’t regret it! ½ pound ~$ 12 and 1 pound ~$ 24.

Visited them cause saw them on Dragon’s Den. Great jerky. Owner was nice and let us try a sample. I liked both pork & beef. Both plain and spicy flavours were delicious. Meat is not dry nor rubbery. Reminds me of the fresh jerky shops in Hong Kong where you can buy them super fresh and hot off the grill. Wish they also make chicken and turkey jerky.

This place is amazing! We saw it randomly on a recent visit to Vancouver and are so happy we popped in. The storefront features two women preparing jerky in the window, and when you walk in you see a flat panel screen with the current offerings of Beef and Pork jerky done Singaporean style. This style of jerky is fresh and therefore holds more moisture than typical dry or packet dried jerky. The flavors are rich, sweet, and distinct. One thing I noticed about the regular, spicy, and curry flavors was that all three had a sweetness to them and that there was a soft texture to each of the jerky selections. The jerky is thin slicked squares of about 5 inches by 5 inches and comes in Beef and Pork. The pork was amazing! This was something new for me — Since we are 5 hours away in the USA, I wish we had purchased 10 pounds of this stuff. It is just a small counter shop — get your jerky and go! The friendly women gave us samples while they put the jerky in airtight bags for us.

Our friends liked this place so they took us here. I didn’t like Singaporean Jerky in Singapore so I was skeptical. They gave us samples to try and I liked the Curry Beef one so I got that one. Our friends love the Spicy Pork. The sample and the packaged one taste differently. Had I known, I may have bought more. Taste much better packaged in its juices. The samples were a bit dry. They make the jerky fresh there. I recommend you try it.

I love pork jerky, especially Singapore style. This place was recommended from friend of a friend… the best kind. Love the burnt bits! Very dangerous as you cannot stop eating! Try it and you will be hooked! They also have beef jerky as well.

Very awesome in house made beef jerky. I’ve actually been here a few times. They used to have the ½ and ½ which was ½ chicken and half pork, however, they’ve stopped that or maybe it gets sold out quickly. I do find that most, not all to be overly salty. Most are GF.

Oh my heavens, what is this God sent place that descended upon my tastebuds? Our only regret from our entire Whistler/Vancouver trip, is that we didn’t buy more of this jerky. These guys make it impossible to replicate, which means you’ve never had anything like it. The meat literally tastes of the BBQ char that you only get from tedious turning and attentive watching. The juicy, sticky, spicy, sweet-yet-spicy-and-savory marinade on it screams through each bite. The shop is small and does what they do, the best. Two guys on the grill, constantly flipping thin pieces of meat ready for on the spot vacuum packaging to your meat/weight order. Wondering if they do orders online, otherwise I’m sending my cousin up to get some when he is in town for 3 pounds. Packaging says to store in the fridge and to consume within 7 days of opening… This 1 lbs bag isn’t going to last the rest of our road trip. Let’s see if you can get jerky meat sweats… Ha!

I love jerky, almost as much as I love doughnuts. It’s actually a coin toss. I may be late to the party but I just tried what has arguably been named the best jerky in the city? BKH. It’s Singapore jerky, so it’s not exactly the kind you pick up at the gas station before a road trip. It’s saucier and more tender and it’s highly addictive. So so so good.

The jerky here is so good but it’s not cheap. The pork is yummy. They actually sell the corners for about half the price. The not so burnt parts are tastier than the full sheets. This new location is better than the old location but parking is harder to find at the new location.

First time visiting this shop, I wanted to go earlier but they moved and took me a while to figure out there new location, right down the street. Doh. Got four flavours: Beef Spicy Beef Pork Spicy Pork. Never would have guessed that the Spicy Pork would be my favourite. Had some friends over for a BBQ and put out a couple different flavours as an appy. It was all gone in a heartbeat which about says it all.

It is probably the best BBQ dried pork I have tasted in Vancouver. On the very plus side, the people who run and own this place are so incredibly friendly! Once you establish that rapport with them, you just cannot go wrong. So far, it’s been 1 lb of BBQ dried pork and me. I do not particularly enjoy the word«jerky» being associated with this particular type of BBQ dried pork, because it is not the«jerky» common to North Americans. People get confused, they buy it, hate it, and so forth. Of course, no person in his or her sound mind could possibly hate this version of «jerky». This style of BBQ-ing allows the meat to contain its juices and oils, making it succulent and flavourful; as opposed to North American«jerky», which is tough, dry and salty. If you’re contemplating a first visit, I say: DOIT! It is certainly the best outside Richmond. Then again, this comment is pending because I have not explored Richmond enough to know if there is a better one out there. I’d love to love this place more — if only there was a quicker way for me to get here! Regardless, BKH has carefully made its way into my good books.

Frigging addicting spent $ 160.00 in 2 weeks at $ 22.00 lb. had to buy some for my grandma. We were going to the old location for over 10 years. Best jerky in town! No complaints other than the last time I went it smelled really funky in there? p
