Blogsite Studio provides WordPress web design and consultation. Mari tutors privately and in groups with business owners to help them improve their WordPress sites. Every Tuesday at 7pm she holds WordPress Workshops at Blenz coffee to help a maximum of 3 bloggers with their sites. WordPress Workshops are scheduled at Meetup​.com

History

Established in 2011.

Blogsite Studio was launched as a design shop for WordPress sites, but when Mari discovered that business owners who use WordPress are keen to work with this communication management system themselves, she started offering tutorial services.

WordPress Workshop began as a tutorial for members of the West End Writers Workshop and went so well that Mari Kane began holding weekly sessions for bloggers who want to improve their skills on an as-​needed basis.

Business Owner

Mari Kane started out in life as a professional photographer and began writing non-​fiction stories as another outlet of expression. After working in the wine business in Sonoma County, California, and moving to Vancouver, BC, she began blogging about wine. Working on her first blog, Tast​in​gRoom​Con​fi​den​tial​.com introduced her to the world of WordPress and she began launching blogsites for her friends and writers groups. In 2011, she went pro with BlogSiteS​tu​dio​.com by offering WordPress design and consultation. So, you could say, it all started with wine.
