This was my first move using a professional service and I was pleased to have had a smooth experience. The movers, were excellent in that they were polite, fast, and efficient. Also they handled our stuff with the greatest of care. I highly recommend this company for moves big and small! Totally will used them again and again!!!

Booked them one month prior to my move. Confirmed that they are still coming 5 days prior to my move date. On the day of the move they phone me to let me know they are running 15 minutes behind so i tell them no worries not a big deal. 45 minutes later no one has shown up yet. I phone the company manager back to see where his guys and truck are. He tells me they are almost there. Another 15 minutes goes by i phone the manager again and this time he tells me that the truck has arrived and that they are moving me. At this point i am trying my hardest not to scream at this guy because his idiot employees went to another adress and took another job. I will give him credit for apologizing and booking a different company to come move us. Other company shows up 2 hours later and our elevator booking at the new building has expired. So now we dont have elevators to move in. We had to beg the other people to let us share the elevator. Thank god they were nice. Overall i would never ever book my move with this company as you dont know if they will show up. It could have been a one time screw up but i have learned my lesson. If you do choose to book with them be very careful.

I never dreamed that I would ever use the words «move» and «pleasurable» in the same sentence, but a pleasure it was to be relocated by Buddy 2 Move. It was a dark and rainy morning — pounding rain (of course) — and I was s-t-r-e-s-s-e-d out. Petite and female and incredibly weary and wary, I was dreading directing and entrusting two possibly gruff, burly and unobliging strangers with my precious possessions (a lot of large art, sculptures, marble and glass furniture, etc.) stored in a locker in the Valley and destined for Vancouver.
I was greeted by two lovely and respectful (and not at all gruff or burly) young men, each of whom introduced himself with a smile and handshake. They were so obliging, so respectful and careful with my belongings. As well, they are extremely creative packers. I had moved my 2-bedrooms’ worth of belongings across Canada before storing them and the previous packers had barely managed to fit everything into a truck of the same size, yet these two young gentlemen swiftly and deftly packed and arranged everything with space to spare.
Loading the truck was a blast. They are well-educated, well-travelled, intelligent, curious, witty and wise conversationalists. Time flew by.
I didn’t know the (bypassing the toll bridge) route to the city, so I told them I would follow them and please to try to make sure I was behind them. It was a circuitous route and the one time I couldn’t stay behind, they noticed and pulled over and waited for me.
The unloading was just as careful and swift. At my destination, they set up my marble and glass dining room table and a heavy sculpture and assembled my treadmill. In the end, I was ¼ hour short of the hour, and they rounded it off backwards, in my favour.
Of all of the times I have moved in my life, this has been, by far, the easiest and most stress-free. I highly recommend the services of Buddy 2 Move.
