Charlie’s Currency Exchange

History

Established in 2003.

Charlie’s Currency Exchange was founded by the owner of Charlie’s Music City Ltd in 2001. At first it was just a minor side business within CMC, however, as time passed, a section of CMC was renovated and dedicated to CCE.

After about 22 years of business, CMC’s building was demolished by the city of Vancouver and was shut down for a period of time. While CMC was being relocated, CCE branched out and currently has two locations in downtown Vancouver. The head office is on 1286 Robson Street and the second branch is on 827 Granville Street (two doors down from where CMC used to be).
